I loved the beginning of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate! Seriously I had no clue what to do... I started with the Guilt Quest ''Playing with Fire'' And tried it over and over again. It took a long time for me to find the Village Quests... (Do not ever skip the dialogues!) Then I finally made some progress. I didn't use a wiki and playing online didn't work either. But I made it to HR8 on my own. And I'm pretty proud of that
I think It's much more fun to be a beginner, Than to be a pro and do all the useless game intros and you already now how it works :/
A piece of the Triforce appeared before you! (>'.')> ▲ Touch it now!

I was just testing out the demo of MH3U on the 3ds, and I have to say it works surprisingly well. I didn't have to get used to anything, though that target system sure helps:P So excited for the next installment! A bit too early to be excited though...

considering the success MH4 was in japan and the fact underwater battles are gone I think it's safe to be excited for this game!
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

I think he means early as in "We still have a whole year or so before we even get to play it"...
in this case, yeah, there are other games coming sooner and being hyped for too long make the game less interesting.

Getting harder and harder to find half decent videos, but I found a Great Sword one.
So I have 4/9 right now(quite sure there is no bow gun changes, and information on bows is ?????!!!!?!?!?!)
Gunlance
Dual Swords(dont know if there are any changes)
SnS (in action preferably)
Switch Axe(two changes, a Double attack in Sword mode and some sort of dodge attack also)
Hunting Horn (fair amount of changes, not sure of all of them but I know notes and attacks chain together easier with new moves)
Few more to go and I will have them all in the same spot

@Caniswoldred Its hard to see cause of the Gif, but note the big swing towards the end that goes all around(looks like you loose control of it) and goes right into switch axe mode.
Here are some hunting Horn Changes that I have no idea what makes them new(taken from a Japanese site so ??????)
Sound attack?(noticed the drop notes)
Nice gifs! One of my mains is the Lance so it's good to see I can actually jump with it!? How awesome is that, you almost look like a Spartan warrior from 300 lol. Again, I'm way too excited, way too early, I don't know how you guys do it without imploding from excitement.

@Spanjard Compile a list of changes in mh4 for weapon at the current moment , Its nice they added lance being able to jump which means you can ride monsters without a platform(Bug staff only other one who can do this)
Another gif I ran across(I wish i knew the video for these things)
Playing through MH3U again on the 3DS and although the game feels almost as good as the Wii U version, I'm glad MH4 is fixing my two biggest gripes (underwater controls, online play).
I actually don't mind the removal of underwater sections for 4 since it's going to be a 3DS game. The lack of a second analog stick really isn't a problem for the game until you are fighting something fierce underwater where then the camera is a pain in the donkey to adjust to intuitively (even with the touch control shortcuts).
Online play is going to be awesome for the 3DS. I've been having tons of fun with MK7 online, and I can imagine MH online on the 3ds will be just as fun especially if we are able to use the touchpad for quick text messages in game (ala the Wii/Wii U versions).

Iv also decided to do a second play through, on my 3DS. I was originally going to be a ranger, but its kinda annoying in single player. Think I might do something a little off the beaten trail like Hunting Horn and Hammer or perhaps SnS and Dual Swords.
If anyone has a Video of the Switch axe cleave or the gun lance ground pound, please send it my way as its all im missing for the video.
I still can't get over the fact that this awesome game is not coming for the Wii U. Sigh....I don't wanna play such action packed game on the tiny 3DS screen.

Yeah, I'm still hoping it will come though, maybe a bit later.
Meanwhile I'll just show Nintendo my affection towards this amazing game by playing it nonstop on my Wii U. And they will look at all the hours spend on this game by one man... They will be touched by this and cry. They will try and convince me by releasing a new Mario game but I will not stop, and they will release a new Pokemon game but I will NOT STOP!!!! Soon after this they will beg Capcom to release this game on Wii U and offer to cancel all of Capcom's debt.

Make it both of us comrade. We will let the world know how much we want this game to be on the U. Add me up and lets hunt together sometime
