Tigerstripe I'm pretty much used to at this point, same goes for Tidal...then there's Tidal's Apex version...ugh.

...What's the deal with the Kinsect against Apex monsters? It's like a 50/50 chance sometimes when trying to grab boosts. Kinda irritating when I can't get the red. T.T (tried solo'ing Gravios, was doing ok-ish...but my insect was being retarded)

It's pretty much like using a weapon on an Apex monster, if you hit a part where your weapon would bounce, the Kinsect bounces the same like a weapon thus not letting you get the juice. You can only get juice from the non-bouncing parts or if you have the Drive Wystone activated.

Felt kinda random to me...anyways if I can't deal with this guy alone, want to do another Apex monster video? o.o (unless I end up rage quitting, then we'll just wait till Friday for Rajang, lol)

I could probably do one hunt, but we would have to do it soon since I gotta study for a test once dinner is ready and etc.

Well I meant tomorrow. xD Since today I'm going to try Apex Gravios a few, rage quit for the night...and then we'll do a hunt.

Well okay then, I should probably free tomorrow since I doubt I'll be doing much other than just doing some exercises for a class.

Nintendo sent me an e-Mail saying I could get the game 33% off... it is tempting. Hopefully the sale will last until I am paid.

@DefHalan If you get have enough money before the sale ends, I definitely recommend it as it was still very worth it as a Day 1 purchase and you'll get your moneys worth by the amount of hours this game has to offer.

i am a little worried that I won't play it much because I won't have many people to play with and it will be my first Monster Hunter so many people won't want to play with a Noob

I won't get to play online often. Mainly late nights, and I am on west coast in the States which means too late for most people lol

The game is solo-able for the most part, also most of the people who still go to this thread are always happy to help beginners. Although while admittedly not too much people go on this thread ever since the White Fatalis Quest quest released back in the summer, we're always happy to help whether it's with advice or just actual hunting. The online is still pretty active so you can always try your luck with random people after you learn most of the basics or you can just arrange some times in the thread and one of us can see if we can fit in some time.

@DefHalan: Hey you can hit me up if you get it too, I just started playing MH for my first time yesterday. totally in love with this game. I totally wish I got into MH way earlier.

I haven't asked Iggly yet, but is anyone wanting to hunt Apex Rajang tomorrow? o.o

@Morpheel Just remember to finish your G3 Urgent if you haven't already since G-Permit is the join requirement

Huh, is that the one to start hunting G3 monsters, or the one for completing the G3-ranked key quests.
