I've done practically everything there is to do in Monster Hunter now; beaten all of the G quests save the arena ones, beaten every monster on G save white fatalis and oroshi kirin, I think.
It's all about setting my own goals now. I just play MH when listening to podcasts; grind for a new armor set, to craft some gems or a weapon, or just to play around with new weapons. Some weapons just aren't for me, but I've tried a bunch and I still haven't done much with the LBG, GS, sword & shield, or gunlance.
Going back and forth between this and Splatoon (and of course P&DZ, lol), though here I've slowed down a lot. Working on upgrades and attempting to get rare drops before moving on.

Keep it PG-13-ish.

My goal is to basically forge all the endgame CBs from their first to their last upgrade. Create my perfect mixed armor set using Athena's Armor set search. (A.S.S.)chuckles and craft the best Relic CB possible. The monsters are just bonus

Finally made it to silver crown but not looking forward to Rajang.
Have fun. lol
EDIT: That reminds me, any tips for the Caravaneer's Challenge? Tried to get Rajang to kill Zinogre for me, but that's not working. lol
That's basically what you need to do. Don't use a tempo-based weapon like the long sword, because it's really hard to maintain the charge. Essentially you have to dodge, duck, dive, block, and dodge the zinogre and rajang, getting the odd hit in when you can, until the zinogre dies from all of the hits. From there the rajang doesn't have much health, so it should be feasible to take down. Hopefully you've only died up to once by now. After rajang bites the dust you have about 1 minute of down time before the sky darkens and magala appears for the standard fight with it. For this reason I recommend going in with an evasion+ set, so you don't get demolished. Also, be sure to have high thunder and dragon res for obvious reasons.
Bleh, I think I going to have to ask for help on the GameFAQs board (eww), with those annoying Arena Quests. xD Like before, the only good help I get, doesn't stay around long enough to get the S rank. -_-
I have gotten within 3 and 14 seconds, respectively, on the two quests. But most of the time, I know that with the person in the room, I don't have a chance. (Face-desks)
it does F-U damage. i think we can leave it at that XD
That doesn't add up. Answers, I want answers! I want to get to the bottom of the matter! Every magic effect in Monster Hunter has done elemental damage. Even the environmental lava is calculated off of fire resistance. So how does Gore damage work?
