Tried the demo a bit last night and I have to say the worst monster is the freakin camera lol. Any tips on using the camera without a CPP? Is there a way to like lock on the monster instead of having to adjust the camera manually?

@yokokazuo When it asks you to type in a code just say no and a bunch of rooms pop up, you can then choose which one you want to join. I'm sure there are plenty that don't have passwords just looking for randoms to join them. I'd play right now but I have stuff to do. >_<
Oh! Can't believe I didn't find that out yet haha. Thanks! @Spoony_Tech when I enter a 4-digit code that I found when searching, nothing happens?
@Marakuto ok, I chose the Tetsucabra. The id is 04-5741-4026-7185

There was a change of plans and it turns out I do have time to play right now.
In the iOS game there's a way to make the camera constantly follow the monster, I don't know of there's a way to do that here, but you can touch the monster icon on the touchscreen to make the L button turn the camera towards the the monster when you press it.

The camera can be a problem. You get use to it after a while. The best thing you can do is use the L button frequently. It allows you to switch the camera to the way you're facing. In the real game you will be able I believe to lock on a monster and hit the button to center the monster no matter which way you're facing.

In the full game you can customize the touch screen and be able to have an icon you can tap that allows you to lock onto the monster whenever you press L.
I think it is at least in the Tetsucabra fight, should be the bottom left icon.

Wait is that possible here? Don't remember if I could do that in the 3DS version of 3U.

It is not a full "forever locked on" thing though. Just directs the camera to the monster when you press a button.
I meant activating it with one of the shoulder buttons, lol. I know you could do it on the Wii U one, but I think you had to use the touch screen to activate it.

Try using the sword and shield, hammer or katana. Those are good for learning.
I have just always loved using dual swords (blades) in games if I can be allowed to use them, so naturally when I saw them I was like OH MY GOD YES, lol. Out of curiosity what makes the dual blades risky?

Usually beginners are better going with something that you can block with, with Duals you have to rely on dodging with good timing, or you're going to take in a lot hits.
