Nibelsnarf was my favorite. The Nargs/Barioths were great.

What I don't get is why they left out some monsters...Teo is in but no Luna. Daimyo is here but no Shogun or Shen. lol

My favorite monster to fight now is the Najarala. Reminds me of those epic cobra vs mongoose battles in real life. Once you're surrounded by it you're pretty much screwed, but it's so exhilarating regardless of the outcome. Plus, being based off Brazilian folklore isn't bad either

Well that explains why Tidal took so long to solo (besides not having a good Glaive to go against with, lol), weakest to Fire, should've known. xD (went with Thunder, lol)

found something peculiar about Dah'ren mohren final showdown during a solo run. When he's close enough and you use the dragonator. His recoil from the damage swings his horn to where you hit the switch and picks you up. I found myself on top twice and just walked to his neck to continue wailing on him. Thought it was funny and useful to get an early start on his neck if you missed out earlier in the quest. Not sure if it was mentioned in the thousands of earlier posts.

Last time I fought it, it did something similar.

Except I ended up on one of the fins and fell to the sea of sand below right afterwards.

It's an interesting little quirk that I'm going to play with some more. I'm going to experiment and see if an unbroken horn or broken one make a difference in whether or not he picks you up. I need those stones of his to make some of his armor so need to get to his back and this method would help a lot especially when I eventually hit g rank

You need to break the antennae that appears when he's enraged.

They're a separate break from the head.

Easiest way to break body parts is by mounting IMO. Once they're down you can get some good solid hits in, and even if you don't manage to down it again, it should break off sometime if you keep aiming for the general area.

Mounting again is probably preferred though.

Using pitfall traps makes it easy to hit the horns.
