Took me 4 days (...because I kept rage quitting and/or going back to Puzzle and Dragons, lol) to finally take down Tigerstripe by myself, lol...let's see how long it takes me to deal with Tidal. xp

Yeah that zamtrios was unusually strong. To top that I used an ice weapon and forgot hot drinks. It was a recipe for disaster.

But still, everything before that was fun.

...I can't seem to get the Oroshi quest anymore...want to upgrade my Glaive too. :/

You can't repeat quests in the evergreen.

They appear as urgents once and then never again.

You'll have to find a guild quest for it.

(Or do that HR dlc quest that involves both kirins)

I fought him more than once in the past though...not to mention the Garuga quest is still there. lol

If that's the case then keep trying.

Ugh, I just checked and it's an advanced quest...meaning the desire sensor is going to make it not show up for a while, lol

So I'm done with the single player campaign. Just got 5 Aged texts to deciphire, and 1 urgent G-Rank quest left. Is there somethings left of the game, or is it done? I've seen many people do the Guild-quests, +lvl 80, +lvl 120, whats the thrill about it? Does it bring you forward by doing guild quests or is it just for the fun? I'm working on a EX Escadora-set, trading materials from S. DaIamadur and a good paralyze weapon. But after that I'm afraid the game is over for me. Any suggestions to keep the game alive?

Many people do farm level 140 guild quests because of relics. Relics have the potential to be better than any craftable weapon in the game, and they best way to get them is to do 140 guild quests. 140 guild quests are very hard too, so they pose a challenge if that's what you're looking for.

How do you get the relics from the guild quests? Through mining? As a reward from finishing the quest? And do you have to make a progress on your own guild quests to achieve the lvl 140 guild quests? Or is it enough to join other players guild quests in already hosted gathering halls? Because I just got poopy guild quests, never did a single one. I got like velicidrome and basarios and that was it.

They can be obtained through mining, but I'm not sure about the others. You can join other people's level 140 guild quest, as theres usually quite a few people wanting to do them. You'll get better guild quest monsters by doing expeditions, but it's mostly luck based on what you get.

I got to HR6 today, and someone told me to farm for armor because 100% genuine Velociprey Butts are NOT good for protection. Any recommendations for good all-around High Rank armor? Preferably ones good for transitioning into G-Rank.

You could farm seregios, from the sonic dlc.

It's not impossible and you'll get a lot of rings for the sonic palico armor.

Secretly playing game at work..so addictive.... unrelated note, Khezu a very fat rip off version of baleful Gigginox.

@MegaMari0: Khezu was one of the original monsters from the first game so technically it's the other way around.

^^^ really? I was unaware. Still though, gigginox was way cooler/harder than this original.

Gigginox is the distant relative who thinks she's too pretty to hang around with ugly cousin Khezu.

A lot of the monsters in MH4/4U are 1st and 2nd generation monsters, Khezu being one of them. So some of the monsters in 3rd generation (like Gigginox) are similar to older monsters in some way. Another example is C. Peco and that flash attack, which is Gypceros's move.
...I miss Peco though, dunno why I enjoyed it when he summoned other monsters, lol

I also miss Gobul/Nibelsnarf. xD
