I also apparently lost connection while I was hunting a kutku in the arena with a hammer (hardest thing ever).

Yeah, my router was being stupid. I was online with my 3DS, but my computer wasn't. I kept rebooting my computer but the router wouldn't connect to it. I ended up refreshing my router to fix the problem and got disconnected.

Thanks again @JaxonH for helping me with the key quests. The urgent was really tough, but it felt really satisfying when we slayed it.

I'm probably gonna finish up the rest of the 10 star Caravan quests now since I only need to finish maybe 7 more quests before I unlock the final Caravan quest.

No problem. I remember how frustrating it was for me to beat that quest solely relying on the mercy of randoms who would leave the hall the minute THEIR urgent was finished. Even with me there, we still had to roll the dice until we found another 2 hunters we could rely on. I'm glad they pulled through. See, I know the tricks to get the good hunters to join (thanx to 10 hours of hands on experience doing that quest lol).

I also need to finish caravan, but, I think I want to shoot for a new armor set. I would like to see if I can make a mix set where I get Awaken and Mind's Eye with HG Earplugs and Sharpness+1, as opposed to my current Evasion+3 and Windproof Hi with HG Earplugs and Sharpness+1. It's gonna be hard getting the S+1 and fencing together though, since the fencing decorations subtract from handicraft. What makes it REALLY tough is finding something that's actually somewhat stylish as a mix. That's the real ringer right there.

Anybody want to help with my rank 4 urgent and maybe a few rank 5's after words? It's Punk Rath if you can't remember.

...Welp, finally took down high rank Shagaru and unlocked the last 4 "low rank" monsters. You know, the high rank monsters in the low rank quests. lol
Anyways, no clue who to tackle first yet. TwT

Well I reached Hunter Rank 5 tonight as I faced Pink Rath all by myself. It's amazing how resilient you can be on your last life when you didn't bring any type of max potions.

I'm also on 10 rank quests on solo and man does the difficulty ramp up. The urgent in 10 was crazy as I failed it from running out of potions. I was getting the hang of it and I believe I had almost won too. At least now I know what to do for next time.

When I fought Pink Rathian for the first time on the Caravan Urgent, I ended up failing the quest. Gathering Hall Urgent I didn't even die once, no clue what happened there. lol

Holy crap Silver Rathalos is a pain! I failed last night but got the best of him this morning. I didn't realize his armor would be so strong. I would go for it but I fear it would take 5 to 10 hours to get. Looks to be a Decent G rank starter set though. Maybe I'll go for it but he's to hyper for my tastes!

I need to try that out sometime, is it possible to take them out before they eat the mushroom?

Still want the master sword but yesterdays wooping has me a tad demoralised.

@Spoony_Tech I was thinking about making that set to last me until the end of G1.

Maybe if you're equipped with G3 rank armor and weapons.

I was surprised something so strong was in the High rank caravan quests.

Not looking forward to doing some of these rank 10 quests as they will take every ounce of skill to do. The easiest one was the urgent to get into rank 10.

We could try and hunt some silver Rathalos as a group to get the armor set.

I would love that but I'm booked all day today and probably into early next week. By then I'm sure you guys will have your sets.

My biggest problem I've noticed is not seeing when I'm the only one on the playing field. Some times I noticed too late that I have the monsters undivided attention. With 3 other players I can see him being far easier then going solo.

Never did try to do the dual Plessy quest in the arena in 3U either. I wonder if you could take down that big one. xp

@Spoony: Yeah, the Cats help, but hunting a fast monster all by yourself can be very annoying.

Just say when you got time and we'll try to help you.

@Jazzer: I won't be able to hunt in some hours myself, so if you want to hunt some rathaloses I'll post when I'm ready.
