It's a little chart thing with japanese words on it
According to Snow, the keyword for MH this generation is 'all' Here's for a Vita MH that is actually comfortable to play, has online mode, and more features/monsters since I'm not getting a 3DS or much less importing one~
I honestly won't be getting this if it isn't online. To me the game isn't fun enough single player for me to buy it. And I would be dissapointed if they were just too lazy to do that. I feel really cheated out of 250 lately expecting the 3DS to be a more hardcore DS. So far it really isn't aside from a few games that probably won't sell well anyway...
It's not that they're too lazy, it's that it wouldn't make sense to spend money on dedicated servers when in japan, where the game is made for and the only place it matters, you can find people who play MH everywhere. They'd rather be in company than sitting at home anyway I'd imagine. Everyone and their mom plays MH there.
Also, what I said abotu MHT's offline being lackluster. The PSP games are great fun and have lots of content offline, and all of the online stuff you can solo with no connection :3
Edit: Also off to sleep here, cna't wait to see what surfaced by the time I wake up :3 /waits for TGS~

That is great for Japan, and you are probably right. But Tri had online and this is a port of Tri. Therefore they are lazy to me because it's a port and they couldn't even port the whole experience over. My perspective is one of someone who owns a 3DS and is still (patiently) waiting for a good online experience. I love Nintendo (games?), but I also want similar experiences that can be had on the other systems.

They were never going to have a wholy new Monster Hunter game for a console that has sold fewer than 10 million units worldwide.
I don't know how many times I need to repeat that, but I grow tired of these supposed "fans" getting pissed off because the companies that make their "favourite games" aren't bankrupting themselves.
See how many awesome Monster Hunter games you get when Capcom is liquidated.
I think I'd probably rather play Monster Hunter online on my home console anyway, and play it on my portable while I'm out. Unlike with the 3DS, you can use an ethernet cable and USB keyboard with the Wii and I can't really imagine playing Tri online being as good without those (I can't play without disconnecting without the ethernet cable).

I'm not complaining it is a port. I totally get that aspect. I'm talking solely about the possible lack of online. If 3rd parties don't step up and put out the best quality games (including online, its 2011) on the 3DS, how do they expect the 'core' base to grow?
And the same people that defend everything wrong with Nintendo and it's systems, are the same people who are going to complain about lack of hardcore games, or a Metroid Prime 3DS. They didn't/aren't doing what is necessary to get core gamers buying the system, and therefore those games aren't going to get made. Just look at the DS and the Wii. I love Nintendo games but I don't want to buy their systems just for their games, and that is how it has been for years now. They need to step it up.

Well, Capcom's not responsible for "growing" that core base on the 3DS. That's Nintendo's problem. Capcom has a budget for a Monster Hunter game on a console that isn't that popular. Online would likely push that budget over the edge, since it would require Capcom to set up servers and the like.
Monster Hunter 3DS 2 will have online if the 3DS doesn't crash and burn in the market.
