Topic: Monster Hunter 3DS

Capcom will make the controls work on the 3DS. They will figure it out; I have faith in them. There is no need to argue over a possible control scheme until we MHF3D is confirmed.

One thing the 3DS _{Hell even the DS} can do better than the PSP is online gaming. Seriously, how many games on the PSP could you actually play online on the PSP itself? So, though the controls might not be optimal for for Monster Hunter on the 3DS, there's no doubt about the fact that it could be done if Capcom really wanted to.

I think you should leave this alone.

For one thing... I know when it comes to nintendo people like to compare their newer consoles with some 6yrs older, but that's not a great thing to do. Sure the 3DS has better online than the PSP. Considering it was released just this year, while the PSP was about oh I don't know, in 2005? Great job making a fool of yourself.

If you're talking about porting one of the PSP games over, well then that wouldn't work as those don't have an online mode, as you said. So they'd have to completely rework the game and add some weird way to get online which wouldn't work with how the MHP3 guild is designed.

Now, after all that, let's compare consoles that are more comparable shall we? The Vita is coming out this year in Japan. I can guarantee you its online will be waaaay better than whatever ninty crapped out this time. They're always horrible with online stuff. Even MHT had a primitive online service, it copied the PS2 games that even when they were released were considered to have a crappy online!

I agree only with your last statement, if Capcom decides to put MH on the 3DS they no doubt will figure it out.

You know, Pik did also say that the DS had better online than the PSP as well, albeit in small text. I'm not agreeing with anyone here, it's just that you seem to have missed that.

i still think that you can use your index finger to move the analogue stick around and your thumb for the d-pad(camera control), its really awkward but it might work.

No clue what you mean by primitive...only problem I've seen with it is the chatting. (and lagging, but that's mainly due to the people themselves)
By the way I tried doing the reverse claw....VERY uncomfortable, it wouldn't work.

The 3DS would work flawlessly controls wise. I don't know why any of you are worrying.

Capcom will do whatever they want but... I'd email that idea to them a few more times

Maybe the touch screen could be used for items.

Would be difficult when dealing with a fast monster like Barioth or that Nargaruga thing.

I'd say it's harder than bari, because even tho bari is basically a copy of it, the saber-toothed dood is a little easier with its resistances and slower moves. And kitty is solid black n_n
