It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

@HolyMackerel Hunh. you always have like the most valid points. Your good at this debating thing.
Currently playing: 3DS: KI: Uprising Wii: Xenoblade Chronicles "Heh, heh... Thanks... You're nice. Umm... Can I ask... a question? Your friends... What kind of... people are they? I wonder... Do these people... think of you...as a friend?"
Well, I'm sure Capcom is considering bring MH to the 3DS. Seeing the [huge] success of MHTri in the US, I'm sure NOT making MH for the 3DS is out of the question. Maybe we won't hear any announcement in a year or two, but I do know it's being considered and the chances of the game actually surfacing is pretty high- so I like to believe.
So, now that we got that whole "possiblity" thing out of the way, what would you like to see if it ever arrived on 3DS?
For me, I'd like to see voice chat come in some form but not in taking away 10 people in a city (there really aren't people on MHTri that use Wii Speak- and people were 'nagging' Capcom to incorporate it _). Then again, I don't like being vocal- never liked talking into a mic (or even on the phone). I just don't like it. Then again, the world doesn't revolve around me haha.
DLC and brand new exclusive quests (same as MHTri, but much more expanded and infrequent repeats). Even downloading special new quests for Single Players who want to go solo (like the PSP versions where you can download quests).
More options in customizing your character such as facial, body, etc. Nothing too complex like Sims 3, but a bit more expansive than what the current the MH games offer (not like I'm dying about it, but I can see it be taken a step further).
More monsters- maybe them special quests can offer new monsters and even monsters from the past games.
Gah, that's all I can of right now. You people can expand the things I suggested or whatever lol
I'm personally not big on voice chat but it makes sense for a MH game on a device with a built-in microphone. Pictochat would be awesome too though!
Also MH3's event quests are not DLC. They all exist on the disc already, the servers just enable them for a short period of time.
Things I'd like to see in a Monster Hunter 3DS:
Online connectivity is a must.
10-person cities please.
No silly friend codes. MH3's system was not bad.
Integrated use of StreetPass - it could be used in any number of ways for awesome effect. They could really push online and local connectivity.
A LOT more quests for the endgame - something like MHFU. MH3's endgame was highly disappointing.
Old and new monsters. If they were to make it the new definitive MH game (surpassing MHFU) then I would be immensely happy.
Higher difficulty, like G-rank quests? The game gets easy too quickly in my opinion.
More of those creative quests like "unequip your armor" quests. They add challenge to the game by switching up the gameplay in a fun way.
Alternatively - a system where players can create their own challenge quests. Restrict the types of items/armor/weapons people can bring and go hunt a particular monster/2 particular monsters/freehunt monsters like Moga Woods. You would pay off your big risks with big rewards.
Continuous updates/patches. It could rival MH Frontier if this was implemented. I would gladly buy content expansion packs (new monsters, stages, items) through the 3DS online store using Nintendo Points.
An online Moga Woods-type experience. Go on a non-quest hunt with no goal - just freehunt rapidly-spawning random monsters and gather items. Moga Woods beats Harvest Tours any day.

Totally agree. Oh, and I knew them quests were already on disc. I really want NEW quests that aren't pre-loaded on disc (I'll take both though hehe.)
And a 'Virtual' store would be awesome- downloading expansion packs and the like such as new areas, items, monsters etc. That'll keep the income flowing into Capcom in place of monthly fees. We are lucky not to have monthly fees- Japan deserves not to have it because of how more appreciated it is over there lol But then again, people here wouldn't want to pay monthly. I would if it actually brought actual NEW content.
Monster Hunter is such a excellent game I can't even believe it's this incredible. This is actually thee game I have been waiting for, and i didn't even know it existed! I still can't believe that i have missed out on so many Monster Hunter games (Monster Hunter Tri being my first one). So i went and searched up some Monster Hunter and i realized that (like MH3) some monster's can only be fought online and that those servers shut down.

I really don't see this working on a 3DS soley for the lack of dual analog.
You say put the camera on the shoulder? There are so many moves that rely on these extra buttons. Where would you put those?
You say throw the items or some controls on the touch screen? You have to cycle while running on the fly so much it would be awful have fumble with a stylus too.
The controls would be crucial in making this game enjoyable and by looks of it Capcom would be working with a square wheel.

That didn't stop them from putting the games on the PSP

And soon on the iPhone....
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
^ Having the camera controls right below the hunter controls is fail as all get. How are supposed to move both at the same time? (Which you constantly have to do in the game)
