Dont know if this is old or not but yeah.

The game looks great. Much better than the PSP games.

.....aawww man... sigh I absolutely fell in love with the Bowgun BECAUSE it's so confusing, but using the gun in mhfu just feels...well I guess different to me even though it's basically the same.

I did not even touch the bowgun. Shiz was too complicated and discourage that I said "Okay, f**k this, I'm just going to smash things with my hammer."

me too. damn i loved the hammer. it was so perfect for me! i tried other weapons but the hammer was just amazing

Yeah, I use the hammer almost exclusively. Favorite is the Iron Striker.

Iron... Striker? what's that? I thought the only two hammers were the Ala Metamorph and the Devil's Crush (P)

"Monster Hunter 3G has a Jhen Mohran subspecies that appears when you’re crossing frozen areas. Players will fight this monster variant in a ship armed with a ballista and later on foot. The original Jhen Mohran was introduced in Monster Hunter 3 through an online quest and the creature later appeared in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Famitsu also teases a monster reveal with a silhouette that we think is Deviljho.

The magazine also outlined Monster Hunter 3G’s Streetpass feature. Players can exchange guild cards, which have data such as play time, what quests you cleared, the weapons your hunter has equipped, and a personal message. Hunters you meet through Streetpass will appear inside the pub at Tajima Harbor. For a fee, you can ask "chance hunters" to complete any quest they already did. They’ll return in two minutes and you can claim the quest’s reward. Monster Hunter 3G also has a hunter search feature, which looks for nearby players. Use this and you can see detailed information about those hunters on the bottom screen.

Monster Hunter 3G comes out on December 10 in Japan."

@HolyMackerel I was getting a PS3 today but it has been delayed until like Monday next week. But I'm only like HR 1 and I have only completed the quests on ...5 or 6 star quest on the old lady not the kitty. :/

I'm HR 5 in MHFU right now, stuck on the urgent. I played a fair bit with friends so that's why my rank is so high haha.

I'd be happy to do some monster runs at lower levels though - it's been a while since I played!

@zez MHFU doesn't have online because Capcom didn't think it was important then, and they were pretty much targeting just Japan... but the only way MH can ever be successful in the west is with good online play.

@Arcanum No worries. I haven't played that many of the village quests either - I've only just begun on the kitty quests myself!
