How was it unexpected? lol
I think its one of the reasons Capcom is making this game on the 3DS, otherwise they'd just make another PSP game. (dunno about Vita, kinda figured they would go through all of those same issues again about the PS3 stuff, lol)

Turns out that the lock isn't really a "lock on" per se, it just points the camera so you can see the monster. That's way better then lock on, IMO.

I REALLY love the touch screen customization. But yeah...1 whole year. They better release a limited addition MH 3DS like they will in japan.....and Online.

Looks like every monster from Tri is returning ~~except for Agnaktor? I haven't seen him yet.~~ Never mind. New weapons, new HUB world, new monsters, new area, blah blah blah. It also looks like dual wielding is coming back. Poisonous Royal Ludroth, Barroth located in the Tundra, electrified Gigginox, Barioth located in the Sandy Plains _{he's orange...?} , a weird looking Lagiacrus, poisonous Jhen?, and a really pissed off Deviljho.

Thats what I got out of the video.
