how about we just leave the difficulties settings alone, the low ranked and high ranked system seems to work just fine with everybody

If people can't take down a Yian Kut-Ku after a couple tries, they don't deserve to play Monster Hunter. Difficulty settings won't change the fact that you need to learn how to make better armor/weapons on your own.
Difficulty settings? Wouldn't that completely ruin Monster Hunter all together...? The low rank and high rank works perfectly as it is, don't know why you would want to go changing that formula now... difficulty settings are for pansies anyways.
Just look at Mega Man 10, Capcom introduced difficulty settings with an Easy mode, who in their right mind would want to play Mega Man on easy? That defeats the whole objective of Mega Man being frustratingly hard and annoying at times, the same goes for Monster Hunter.
You know, like the ones in freedom unite and monster hunter tri, where you just get to directly kill some monster(s) in a battle field-ish place and then the monster for some reason gives you themed coins.
check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWgCttxclIY&feature=player... I understand nothing, but i go to 16:14 for some gameplay. Looks amazing. ESPECIALLY the customization at 27:10. All of my camera worries are gone with that and L button lock-on thing. Anybody can translate??
Oh that guy who infuriated me was this one guy online who was for hours. It was funny until some other dude said something and the complaining dude backlashes 10x over. it erupted to full on argument and the dude pulled out the stupidest sh** ever, and he started to get personal talking about peoples moms and whatnot. it was nuts. It was during the complaining guys jhen mohran battle. He had told us that he had already tried like 7 times to defeat jhen with other people but he just never could, and we had assured him that we were very good and that this time we were gonna kill it (i think that's what he was complaining about the whole time actually. That and the difficulty). So the three of us purposely lost the jhen battle and were fu***** around throwing that guy off the boat and wasting the gong and dragonator. He then rage quit the quest and we also quit. We then came back to the city where he lost all control and was crazy (and I'm talking about some amazing rage like you've never seen before). The two other guys left and the complainer and I were left there to hash it out. I was trying to calmly explain to him why it was his fault for being such a douche, but he just wouldn't stop (he was having a SUPER RAGE attack). Now these two other guys join and start defending me, but he kept going. Now one of the dudes posts a quest and sets a password so only him the other dude and me could join, leaving the complainer out. we all left and he later quit after being convinced that we had all blocked him (he literally said some thing along the lines of "Wow you fu***** blocked me. fu***** noobs..." etc. etc. but that is just the kid safe version. This dude was throwing in some amazing verbal assault. infuriating though it was, one of the dudes told me to just stay calm and not pay attention to him (I had told them what was happening) and it all worked out. That has to be the memorable thing that happened to me in MH.

You used to be kinda cool, now you're that ragey wall-o-text guy /me hides
Just wanted to tell a story. that's the only interesting thing I got with raging being a topic.

@zezzy: but it's not him who was raging, it was the other guy. :3
@Arcanum: Sounds like that dude was a real d-bag, but your friend was right — just keep a cool head and ignore those types. that's the only way to deal with them. :3
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
Well now the comment is less ragey, could still use paragraphs >:3
I think bowing will work great on this system, I usually switch my thumb over to the control pad to aim anyway. Now I'll just have to remember to move it down and not up u__u
it just keeps on getting better, i hope they add a few monsters from frontier so there's more monsters. best thing about this game is that all the weapons are back and that they kept underwater fighting. worst thing they did....they brought back the plesioth:( dang hip check move... oh well

Never had the honor of getting Owned by the notorious Plesioth's Hip check move I've heard so much about. Was it full of pain and the object of much hate for many players?
