Speaking of which, I fought it today. Either the village version is easier than high-rank, or Tigrex is no where near as hard as Narga

i think i would be a huge mistake if they didn't have online, its fun to beat the village and everything but once you do, it gets boring. IMO i think online makes the game much more long, its also more fun to play with friends or strangers.

Yeah, but in japan everyone carries around their portables with them to hunt with friends, so there's no reason for them to put online in that game. Since Japan is MH's primary audience anyway, any MH fans wanting a good online experience will just get MHFO.

As long as I get access to tougher "online" quests offline, then I'll be happy. I enjoy soloing Tri's online for the challenge just cause of that. xD
I'm pretty sure if it does come over here that they'll give us online using friend codes, dunno how many friends could join. But I doubt we'll get a full online system like Tri's though.

There's no way on earth they'd add online in the localization. If it doesn't have infrastructure multi in the japanese one, it won't if it comes over here.

Yes they could. For example:

TvC US had online mode and was re released in Japan at a budget price. They could essentially release MH3G here with an online mode months after the Japanese release, and then rerelease the game there with online mode and possible bonus content at a budget price- or even release somethin on eShop, like "MH3G Online" for free or 200 or 500 yen which requires the game to use such application. It'd save them money on repackaging as well.

It's a possibility if it's heavily. If TvC Ultimate All Stars (whatever it's called, can't remember) comes to the US with all the rights issues it had, with an online mode as requested, this same thing can happen for MH3G.

Just in case anyone didn't already know, there is a lot of info in the link. Here's some info on MH3G:

The blue Shakalaka, Kayanba, can join you on hunts. He is Cha-Cha's rival.
Burakidiosu http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Burakidiosu Is the title/flagship monster. He is likely a brute wyvern.
Pink Rathian, Azure Rathalos, and Plesioth make a return.
The Mountain Stream area from MHP3 returns.
Returning MHT monsters are: Sharq, Epioth, Great Baggi, Great Jaggi, Qurupeco, Barroth, Gobul, Agnaktor, Lagiacrus, Uragaan, Barioth, Royal Ludroth, Jhen Mohran, Gigginox, and Ceadeus.
MH3G will have 12 weapon categories.
There will be local wireless multiplayer, online not confirmed yet.
Loc Lac City will be replaced with a port named 'Tanjia'.
Not really a fact, but the logo looks sexy~

Edit: I just noticed that some artwork of the blue fellow shows him holding a staff with a top shaped like a Mosswine/Bulldrome. This could hint that the two monsters come to MH3G.
2nd Edit: Now that the pic is enlarged, I also see that he's wearing a crab monster helmet. This might also hint that some of the crab monsters make a return, too. Of course, it could just be a coincidence.

i just went back to the screeshots that NL posted for this, and i was freaking screaming when i saw a hunter using the BOW!!!
bow is my fav :3 im so happy! now if they have online... i would be in heaven!

EDIT: picture 8 of 9.. the area looks like its not at a village... maybe a online town?!?

and one more thing, i was looking at the scans on the MH wiki and it seems like there are 12 pics of hunters with weapons, there are only 11 that we know of. Great Sword | Long Sword | Sword and Shield | Dual Sword

So as you see, theres only 11 here, but there seems to be 12 weapons in the scan Hmmmm...
