Topic: MiiVerse Freedom!

this post is for any and all that cant or wont post on Miiverse.

recent mass bannings have affected many people, and it seems there is very little real administration going on. i recenty was spammed by the the admins for i'm guessing, 100 posts or more! all at once! i didnt get banned, but i can no longer support that kind of system. i feel that this 1 time the old saying " silence can be deafening" may apply.

Nintendo needs to change it, or just shut it down completely.

That was me, I honestly don't know what happened. :

to me, Miiverse is just to post screenshots, draw a little and make short comments on MH3U. so as long as the admins don't do like the rumour(the one that says anyone who gets reported is screwed regardless of the report being for real or just a bad joke) I'm fine

I have never had a problem with Miiverse

I do wish there was a way to have a quick online match with someone you meet though (and maybe without the use of FCs...)

I've had 2 problems with Miiverse regarding my posts "containing spoilers" among my 1200+ comments and 20 months with the program. And while I wouldn't call these posts spoilers, I suppose they are open to interpretation. Especially, when these administrators probably haven't played the game.


Still, I never got suspended. This occasion is rare. And it was probably some troll who though randomly reporting people was funny that is more to blame than an administrator.
I still don't see it worth fighting for, because I go on some of these accounts, and there's no question why they were reported.

I think some users take Miiverse too seriously

If they are banning people without looking into stuff that is reported I could see why folks would get upset, but honestly I agree with Unca_Lz. Some folks take Miiverse WAY to seriously.

@Kyloctopus To be fair, the DK one looks like an endscreen to anyone who hasnt played the game And honestly, you cant expect anyone to play anything among MiiVerse admins, so if you ask me, ill give em a pas on these two occasions

I had just a single post marked as spoiler and thats really it: They marked it as a spoiler and told me "hey, please think of others and use the spoiler feature"
I dont get how people could get into "trouble" on MiiVerse other than behaving like...well...internet people. Is it so hard for some people not to use profanity ? Is it so hard to accept rules like "dont post friendcodes, emails or other contact data" ?

This question was asked before, but what were these posts about @brokenfang ? I pretty sure the admins wont spam you for using the MiiVerse like its supposed to be used...

Hadn't had an issue with posting on MiiVerse until lately.... In the last 24 hours, 16 / 17 have been banned.... Someone(s) going thru posts from the beginning of time to find something to Post Violations. I myself have deleted 120 pasted posted. Not because they are bad, but because there is a "Not Nice" person looking to do damage.... Sad if you ask me.

Yeah, you can say that again. Miiverse is just for posting fun pics from games, or making drawings, or asking for help when you're stuck on a level. Yet lots of people use it for

-bullying
-petitions
-"revolutions" against admins
-dating

and it's no wonder so many of them get banned, yet they refuse to understand that and just label the admins as jerks who banned them for no reason.

yeah if it's not about gaming it's pointless in Miiverse. people should understand that it was suposed to be a fun place to talk about gaming and nothing else, that's how Nintendo wanted it to be so why not use it like that?

How does one even go about dating via miiverse? People never cease to amaze me...

It usually goes like...

"Hi im Azukamagi4362892 and I want a girlfriend. u must be female and no older than 13. Yeah if u would date me. email is [email protected]"
