I think I'll get it. I was bummed when my copy of Tomodachi Life was stolen (with my 3DS) and I've been meaning to replace it and start over when the price went down far enough for me to rebuy, but so far that hasn't happened. Then I try out the demo for Miitopia. II honestly never read a single bit of info on this game so I didn't even know what kind of game it was, other than the fact it has Miis. Well, I might as well get this game than Tomodachi Life since it's like Tomodachi Life but with more stuff to do. I am really bummed that I can't import the Miis I used in Tomodachi Life though :/

Do you live in the Toronto area? If so, I am selling a bunch of GB and GBA games. Manuals too. Let me know at conn^[email protected] Remove the ^.

Eh... you must have an Extra Save Data from Tomodachi Life if you want to use your specific Mii from Tomodachi Life to Miitopia.

I tried the demo yesterday and it was really fun. I think this kind of game is perfect for a console like the 3DS. I'm definitely going to buy it as soon as it gets in the eShop.

I've been playing the demo for awhile now. Not all the time but consistently enough. All my mii's in my squad are level 11 and my highest relationship is 13 which has basically made my team unstoppable in the demo. All the relationship perks are great and provide a real advantage, but not all of my miis have a relationship with each other. I think that some jealousy aspects would start to creepin if they did and that'd probably hamper the team anyway, so I'm happy with them as they are. As someone else mentioned, the food aspect is an issue, but I suspect that's just limited to the demo. And theres no need to feed them every time.

I'm definitely picking this up when it releases - I just wonder why it wasn't set much sooner.

Sleep is everything. Games are everything. Why isn't sleep-gaming a thing yet?
Mainly play games on my 3DS, Wii U & Switch (sometimes PS4).
Fave game series include (but are not limited to): Pokemon, Super Smash Bros, Splatoon, Disgaea, Bayonetta & Kirby.

I have only two level 11 miis and only one relationship at 11 and my team is already unstoppable in the demo. I have two knights, a cook and a singer

Where did I miss the memo that this was going to be a full 40$ game??? Sorry but what I played of the demo lead me to believe this would be a 15$ game at max. My kids and I were excited to get it but I'm not spending 120$ for 3 versions of this. Highly disappointed in the pricing for this.

So I have been playing this game for the past week, and I have been enjoying it quite a lot! The game keeps suprising you with new gameplay elements, and does some things with the story to keep you hooked. I decided to put my best friends in as party members, and put collegues and other friends in other roles, resulting in funny (and sometimes relatable) scenes. At a certain point, the game opens up and becomes a whole lot less 'casual', making the game even more fun. It has a lot more content then expected too! Not regretting my purchase at all

Does anybody know if it's possible to use Miis that were created on the Nintendo Switch in Miitopia? Also if that is possible, is the only way to transfer the Mii data over from Switch to 3DS through using an amiibo?

Not that I know of, I'm afraid. I still use my 3DS to create Miis so that I can send them to the Switch and be able to use them across 3DS/Wii U/Switch. I hope Nintendo will devise a solution to this.

@sillygostly Aw man, that's a bummer. I was going to get one of those clearance amiibo to do the transfer with in the case that it was possible. I also hope that Nintendo makes a solution or a workaround is discovered eventually, as I don't really see what makes Switch Miis incompatible with 3DS/WiiU Miis.

Mii on Switch has some new hairstyle, new facial attributes. I'm afraid it will be like 3DS & Wii U to Wii situation. If you remembered, Mii on Wii version has lesser hairstyles, eyes, mouths, noses, etc than 3DS / Wii U version. Also, Mii on Switch version has More Color Options for hairstyle, Eye color, etc.

@Smitherenez
Ah... me too.
Me put myself and my Fictional RPG Heroes as my playable characters. I named 9 of them with Planet names (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto)
Also, I gave them Specific job based on my Fictional RPG Heroes.
I did like this :
1. Myself -> Any kind of job, but currently I choose Thief for High Speed, All Strike and Bobby Traps.
2. Mercury -> Thief
3. Venus -> Cleric (Beginning), Princess (After Reunion)
4. Earth -> Male Pop Star (Beginning), Tank (After Reunion)
5. Mars -> Warrior
6. Jupiter -> Mage
7. Saturn -> Chef
8. Uranus -> Male Pop Star
9. Neptune -> Scientist
10. Pluto -> Imp, Vampire (When I finished the quest to get Bat Charm later)

Btw, you can check my Fictional Planetary Hetoes from my Instagram. I have put the address on my Profile.

Eh...
My Fictional Planetary Heroes are Boys, except Venus (Girl). Their gender based on God's name except Venus the Goddess name.
Check my Instagram from my profile.
They are not Sailor Moon. Just coincidence same planet name.

This game is a "press B most of the time to proceed with the story" simulator. I mean, seriously? You can't even toggle the fast forward function on and off? You have to be constantly holding down a button in order to do so? Who's the smart guy who thought that that was a good idea? And not just that, this game to be completely honest with you guys has almost no actual gameplay. Your characters run automatically (except in towns), your party attacks automatically (except the main character), etc. It's almost as if I'm playing a crappy premium gacha smart phone game.

Me.
I think Miitopia is much much much better than FF XV.
Thousand times better than Boring Ultra OMG HD Realistic RPG FF XV.
The Hilarious parts of Miitopia was sold me out. Simply funny and interesting.
I admit Miitopia has some flaws, I wish I can control all my characters, but that's Nintendo.
Always try to make something different and unusual.

Btw, try to beat Dark Sun, the HARDEST Optional Boss in Miitopia. It was DAMN Ridiculous Hard if you low level and underestimate its looking. Don't worry, even you can't control directly all of your characters except yourself, you still can beat the game.

Unfortunately, I gave up trying to beat this game a month ago. It was just too boring after a while. I even forced myself to complete it once but sadly the game did not end after the first Dark Lord.
