This is most defindently interesting. Here's to hoping that it is every single bit as awesome as it was on the PS2 (Never played it, but heard it was great).
Easy way to quickly make a LOT of games for a new system
Where as they might only be able to make a couple new IPs built specifically for the 3DS, they can make several remakes fairly shortly so that the system has a strong line up at launch.
So yeah.. they're technically old games, but at least they're not as bad as Nintendo using them on the Wii to get away with several months without anything new.
Wait a sec...if it's a remake of MGS3, then wouldn't it have to be on a 3-4 GB game card? A normal 3DS game card is supposed to have only 2 GBs of memory! Am I missing something here?

The automatic tag mode works with multiple games even when not playing and can download quests so saves are likely on the internal memory which makes it possible for the game to be on two cartridges. Either that or compression magic.
