Topic: MegaMan Legends 3 Cancelled

I thought that was Square Enix's destiny but they're more like a Nintendo wannabe. They make new games, they're all just in the same few series (outside of some western developed games like the new n-space game).

Now we just need the president to be an arrogant jerk and Capcom's transformation shall be complete!

I didn't. I mean, I feel guilty for not putting myself together to contribute to MML3 with my ideas, but I didn't pursue it. Then again- this would have happened anyways

anyway some know-it-alls who think huge corporations can never do anything stupid ever (unless they can since it's relevent to what their opinons are) will blame everyone except the people who cancelled the game because they want attention. Honesty is still a possibility but I doubt it. Just want to let people know, it always happens. So ignore and/or laugh at them and continue with your campaign. Good luck and stuff.

I can't get over the prototype though. You have an excuse to cancel it that's about to be released. You released Dino Crisis 3, so you have no problem releasing bad games even if this is one. So just say "oh this wasn't the biggest seller ever so it's cancelled". And it wouldn't be contradicting yourself.

There's lots of [great] games that Capcom produced that didn't sell well. Such as Zack and Wiki. If you had faith in that game- you should have MORE faith in MML3, considering it's legacy and the demand... Guess we'll never understand what's going through the nut jobs' minds in the financial/business department of Capcom, where they'd greenlight Ultimate MvC3, which should have been the game that came out in February.

I guess people can call them CASHCOM... But I still like my Capcom dearly :3

Has Capcom really lost it?

I just don't get it. I driving factor in the game's cancellation was supposed lack of interest. If the backlash is this bad and Capcom needs to walk on egg shells to keep people happy, then obviously there IS a market that wants the game very desperately! See Capcom!? Look at all the people who hate you right now. Every single one of those folks would have been a customer ready to buy Megaman Legends 3! I just don't understand Capcom lately.
