Topic: Medabots 7

Medabots 7 will be coming to 3DS in two versions, like thhe Pokemon games. It will have local and online multiplayer, over 300 parts to customize your medabots with, and 3D over worlds. Anyone that remembers Medabots excited for this? I'm exploding over here!

I want to see another Medabots game come out. I used to play the GBA games all the time with my cousin.

Medabots is known as MedaRot in Japan. Most people change the R in Japanese to an L during translation. The dub just changed the name to Medabots because it was clearer.

I rented the Metabots for the game cube, like 20 times.

Yeah...what was that show about again? Didn't it have to do something with robots fighting in arenas and stuff? And some poor kid who lived in the country?

I wanted the GBA games because it looked cool. I watched the show infrequently but enjoyed what I watched. This is pleasant.

i never played any games, but i enjoyed the show and i had a fourite medabot toy (it was a "build it yourself" robot!)

Yo, where is Custom Robo come to think of it.

I REALLY want to see that on 3DS. It's one of my favorite series (one that is ignored and people complain about Nintendo not having more IPs, whatta joke. Another story for another day though).

This is exactly what I was thinking. An incredibly under-appreciated series.
The idea that Nintendo doesn't have enough IPs is laughable. They own so many it would make your head spin.
But, alas, this is getting off topic...

I would also like to see a new Custom Robo. Seriously with all the new technology Nintendo has, now would be the time to make a new one!
Anyways time to get back on topic.

Color me interested.

I seen it once or twice, but I don't know much about it, but one of my friends was obsessed with it.

Was there a White-ish samurai looking one called "White Sword"? My friend had a little toy from the show like that, and that's what he called it. The main character's was yellow in color, I believe.

I hope this is good, I'd like to see a Custom Robo except without a story so lame it actively hurts the rest of the game.

Yes please, I love myself some Medabot action. Watched the show and played the GBA rpg, even had some neat kits years ago, Oh by the way, Kotobukiya is selling some new kits for Metabee and Rokusho if you're interested. Seeing that this game uses the basic premise of the gba rpg, I will definitely nab a copy if it was localized. Natsume, please find the heart to localize this, or give the licensing rights to some publisher such as Atlus or Xseed.

Look awesome. There's also going to be a 60 cards AR trading card game released along side the game. It has online battles and uses Streetpass. Looks like I'm gonna have to start begging somebody to try and get these localized. lol

I LOVE MEDABOTS! GOOD LORD SOMEONE GET MY AWAY FROM MY HOUSE BEFORE I EXPLODE WITH EXCITEMENT AND KILL EVERYONE IN THE EXPLOSION!
Seriously, I wasted way too many hours watching the anime and playin the GBA games with my friends.

Amazing, I might actually get that if we ever see it beyond Japan.

Impatient me actually sent a message to Xseed about this. I got a reply today.
All they really said was They looked into it, but Medabots isn't their usual thing. They're more for story oriented RPG's. I'd say they were just fluffing up a no. But whoooo knows.
