Topic: Matte New 3DS cover plates

Hey all. One of the lucky ones here. I got an ambassador NEW 3DS. I am looking to switch to new cover plates on official launch.

Now, are any of them Matte? Or are they all silky/gloss?

The ambassador plates and the Smash ones are have are both very pretty, but slippery gloss.

Naturally, the wood ones won't be glossy (and I have a set on order!)

An Australian YouTuber has informed me that the "White Mario one" is Matte. Does he mean this one?:

If anyone can chime in that would be ace! Anyone from AUS/JAP perhaps who has been hands on. Annoyingly hard to find on google this..

Funny - the "stock" cover plates on the white and black NEW 3DS are both matte...

I am not sure which Cover Plates are Matte. i also have an Ambassador N3DS, i want the Majoras Mask Cover Plate that was shown at the end of the MM trailer

A Youtuber who has done some unboxings in AUS has confirmed that the white one listed above is Matte. So happy days; preorder done.

Also, there is a softer "satin" style plate which is glow in the dark - a "Boo" plate, which is kind of epic. Will keep my peepers peeled for that one hopefully!
