Mario Kart 7's character roster lacked racers that were expected to be in the game. Waluigi, Diddy Kong, and Bowser Jr. to name a few.
Anyways, about Mario Tennis Open.I hope they continue the Wario and Waluigi trying to mess things up opening.

Ah, thanks for finally mentioning that! I absolutely love the Wario and Waluigi openings in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and Mario Power Tennis! Especially the latter; Mario Power Tennis has the best opening of all the Mario Sports games as well as the longest. Both games were made by Camelot, so I hope they contiue the tradition.

Yeah, they were great. They managed to be comically amusing, but also really epic for an opener to a sports game. Love it

I never expected the last two to be there. I thought Waluigi would but he's never been in a main Mario game.

Looks good! I noticed for the 3DS they've been featuring real people in Mario's world
Super Mario 3D Land : A guy doing platforming on Mario blocks and such.
Mario Kart 7 : Kids on go karts racing each other with Mario power-ups involved.
and now this, interesting

I haven't seen it. Does it have JLS or Jedward in it? If so, then it probably wasn't cheap in that regard.

Don't forget about the family playing Mario Party 9 with all the Mario enemies in their house. It must cost a fortune to make such commercials, but they're cool and definitely better than the overused "Wii would like to play" ads.

@NintyFan, oh yeah I forgot about that one! They're really cool, I like it at least.

I heard that the game has pretty bad lag when you play online.
153. Posted: Sun 13th May 2012 01:40 BST
Videos of this game's music have been posted on Youtube for any of you curious enough to listen early. I won't do it since I don't want to be spoiled and I'll be gone for a couple weeks on vacation before I get the game anyway.

@NintyFan, bad news. The Wario / Waluigi opening isn't in this game

If the game really does lag that badly online then I'm going to be pretty disappointed! D:

I'm not sure about this game anymore. It just doesn't look as good as it did when it was first announced to me.

Boo, that's a shame. Is there an opening at all? I guess if there is, it just won't star Wario and Waluigi...
Oh, well, I'm not going to deduct points from this game just because it doesn't have the kind of opening I'd like. It just won't have that classic presentation like before. I just hope that it has good music and gameplay.
159. Posted: Sun 13th May 2012 21:30 BST
@NintyFan, from what I've seen, there isn't. Its just the title with the occasional camera panning over the courts.
My main problem with this game, based on what I've seen so far, is the chance shots. It pretty much takes away any strategy or skill in playing. It just shows you where to go to hit the ball, where's the fun in that?
