Topic: Mario party 3D

I was wandering when we hear something for Mario Party 3D.So I like to hear all your ideas comments and anything else.

Yeah, sure. I love Mario Party.

This could be a good game. Maybe they could have some minigames that use AR cards and some that use the motion controls.

The AR Card could be 1 of the boards to play on THAT BE AWSOME

I think Mario Party on 3DS could really be something special if they really put some time and effort into it. For example, they could utilize StreetPass. Like you could trade cards or figures or whatever with others with the game. Stuff like the little trinkets you could get in Mario Party 8. Also I think some AR card minigames are a no-brainer. Like the AR Card would be on the table and some type of target would appear in a spot around the card. First to get 3 targets wins. Also, expanding on the AR card thing, there could be an option to see your character on their current place in the board. Obviously it would be a bit much to project the entire game board onto the card but this mode could offer a small magnified section of wherever your character is. Perhaps there could be things hiding behind items that you can see and shoot if you look around for them. Like a bandit could be behind a block. You wouldn't be able to see him normally but in this AR mode you can look at your characters place from any angle so you could catch the bandit and be rewarded 5 coins or something. Also, I don't feel like thinking of something specific but implementation of the systems pedometer is in there somewhere! I think Mario Party 3DS could be something very special indeed in enough is put into it. Make it happen Nintendo! But not before Pokemon Snap 2...

Since Mario Party 9 is coming out in Early 2012 for the Wii, I don't think we will see a 3DS Mario Party till at least Early 2013

@Crono: That doesn't mean anything. Mario Party games have a new developer, thats why it took a while for the ninth game to be revealed.

Yes it does. It's clear proof Mario Party games can be released in no time at all and with little creativity along with that. Check the franchise's track record if you dont believe me. And it took awhile for it to be revealed? No I think you mean Nintendo had no plans to release another Mario Party up until this point. You know to fill up the radar.

They were released quickly because Hudson was in charge of the past games. Nd Cube is a smaller studio so they can't put out games as fast.

Who said multiple devs can't work on them? You never know.

Although I would buy a Mario Party 3DS game I'd rather see Itadaki Street on the 3DS.

I think it's a no brainer to bring a new Mario Party to the 3DS. Maybe it could even have connectivity with a Wii U version for seamless online multiplayer.
@bboy2970 (5.): Great ideas here. Maybe the pedometer could be used to have a daily mode where you can only take as many turns in game as you made steps in realf life. _{Possibly with a conversion factor.}

And as a really great way to use the gyro you could throw the dices by shaking your 3DS ...
