was on gamestop.com and i just was looking around and i noticed there is a nintendo network logo on the box art. Does it use the nintendo network or what is it?
Kid Icarus: Uprising has the logo too. I don't think the system is officially up yet (correct me if I'm wrong), but they're wanting to get the name out there, so they've started using the logo on games that are online enabled.

Yep. Mario Tennis, Kid Icarus, even Mario Kart use the Nintendo Network. So far it's just a rebranding like everyone's been saying, but eventually we'll get patches, paid DLC, and profiles (on Wii U at least).
"Good. Everyone's together. Pyrrhon loves a party." "...It's funny because marriage is terrible!" If you know the origin of both of those quotes, then you're awesome! Songs are like hugs that mouths give to ears. Dreams are easy to achieve if hope is all...

I think everyone is a bit confused about Nintendo Network. It's just a simple renaming of the wi-fi network, but it will include many other features later (DLC, etc.). The network has been used in Mario Kart 7 and Kid Icarus and has been active since then.

Like others have said, Nintendo Network is probably just this gen's Nintendo WFC. If there's anything drastically different with it compared to the old service, I'm sure that info will be quietly announced during this year's E3.
