Topic: Mario Kart 7 Club Nintendo Competition?!

I was watching the May 31st Nintendo Update video in the Nintendo Channel on my Wii and I heard that Club Nintendo was hosting a Mario Kart 7 competition. All you (should) have to do is get a Club Nintendo account (free) and get the community code on June 11. The three people with the highest scores should be recognized on Facebook and Club Nintendo and are also supposed to get prizes.

I'm going to try and get in on this! What about you?

EDIT: I don't know if there is a cut-off date... The June 30th I originally had up here was for the time limit to get Elite Status.

Well in....... North America Club Nintendo is hosting one

Currently the highest score is 1500+. This is after 2 days. On average, you have to play for...an hour to get 100 points. Good luck trying to catch up.

I'm gonna try anyway. At like 100. The people there are actually really bad.

The people in the competition are fierce! If you don't have the absolute PERFECT kart setup, you will ultimately be left in last place. Also, if you haven't started now, the current leaders have a two day headstart on you. However, since they are people, they take breaks, go to work, eat, and whatever else you do. I only know this because one night I saw the current leader had 700 points. I went to bed and when I woke up he only had 732.

Entered, and so far I am at 15 points. I keep getting 5th. Luckily I also get paired with 8 people, so if I keep playing (I have a lot of time on hand) I will be in the top 3 in no time.

I'm actually good at mario kart 7. Surprisingly. I race with my friend who has 20,000 VR a lot with those people and have 6000 wins and 2000 losses. That's really good. And I raced yesterday I have yet to do so today. Btw if yo race me I'm Clayton☆.

I dropped out after a bit. Just wasn't good enough, Never got 1st place. Obviously, I hadn't played in a while, nor do I care about the cart setup, so my eventual loss was inevitable.

The competition ends in 9 hours. Good Luck to anyone still participating.
