Topic: Mario Kart 3DS: Track Ideas?

We've seen the glorious Mario Kart 3DS screenshots, but now it's time to move forward and imagine up what Nintendo could possibly allow in-game.

So what are your ideas for future tracks or tracks bound to return (such as Rainbow Road or Bowser's Castle)?

There were two tracks on the Mario Kart DS Demo that were not in the game. One was the Nokonoko, which was a beach track, which looks kinda cool. The other is called the Dokan track, which is a aerial tube based level type thing. If you look on YouTube, you can find them textured. Because they should have been in the Mario Kart DS, but weren't, I feel it's a great oppurtunity for Nintendo to do it!

The 3D effect would probably work well with tracks in the mold of Mushroom Bridge and Mushroom City, with other cars zipping past. Guaranteed that snowfall is involved in one.

Themed space levels from the Super Mario Galaxy games please.

I have a brillant idea. The tracks should have a destrucible environments that isn't item-related. For example, instead of being stopped like a brick wall when you hit boxes, you should be able to destroy it or at least push it away so you can continue racing.

How about a track based off one of the Super Mario 64 levels. Like maybe you have to drive on those platforms surrounded by quick sand in the desert level. And you have to go through the pyramid.

Maybe a course with bullet bills flying out at the screen at you (similar environment to world 6 in nsmb)

I keep hoping for a Rainbow Cup in the Retro section with a bunch of old Rainbow Road courses. A Galaxy-themed level would be perfect; in fact, it might make for a good replacement for the aging Rainbow Road tradition, as they are kind of similar concepts, and that would fit in nicely with my dream of a Rainbow Cup.

I want them to have more retro tracks than ever! Bringing back ones that would be good in 3D, but also having new ones that will also be great in 3D. I just don't like it when they down grade tracks. They are the exact same road but some shortcuts and other interesting stuff are gone.

If you noticed in Mario Kart Wii Rainbow Road had some Super Mario Galaxy based stuff.

I reckon Mario game-inspired courses would be awesome. Driving through World 1-1 from NSMB Wii? Question boxes flying at you in 3D? Yes please.
