Coming from the Nintendo Network @ E3 2011, here's some information from Mario Kart 3DS.

•People can choose to race as one of their favorite Mushroom Kingdom characters or even as their Mii™ character.
•New courses take players on wild rides over a mountain road, on city streets and through a dusty desert. Nintendo fans will recognize new courses on Wuhu Island and in the jungles from Donkey Kong Country™ Returns.
•The game supports both SpotPass™ and StreetPass™ features.
•Players can compete in local wireless matches or online over a broadband Internet connection.

So there you have it. Mii support, Streetpass, Spotpass, and online confirmed, even though we should all know that online would be a given. It'll follow Mario Kart Wii with the Miis, and it's great that Streetpass and Spotpass are in. It's also nice to know that Wuhu Island wasn't just a tech demo, and there will be new mountain, city and desert tracks. What do you think about the upcoming features of the latest Mario Kart?

I hope they use Ghost data with the Street and Spot passes...just thought of that when I saw this.
EDIT: Speaking of Nintendo Network...anybody else having issues with their E3 site? Like, when Igo see Wii U's page, none of the links work. "About", "Videos", blah blah....and not only that...clicks on Wii's link...Mario Kart pops up....tries DS's link....Mario Kart...ugh, tries 3DS....Mario Kart....gah!

How about new Tracks via Spotpass? Or, at least, remastered versions of old tracks that weren't already on the game.

This is a signature.

I meant in a portable Mario Kart game. Guess I should have been more specific. Sorry.

Also Wii was the only game on a console that supported Miis anyway
