This thread is to discuss what Retro Tracks(If any) you would most like to see make a return in Mario Kart 3DS from any previous Mario Kart game, and also for those of you with an Imagination to list your new course idea's for the game.

I'de personally love to see 64's Royal Raceway however I believe there is a NEW Royal Raceway track in 3DS Kart so perhaps it's unlikely, so my next request would be Dino Dino Jungle from Double Dash! Or the Original Rainbow Road!

Hard to say. They've already remade most of the good ones in MKDS and MKW's retro cups.

The only one I can think of offhand, assuming they don't reuse tracks already used in previous retro cups, is Luigi's Mansion from MKDS. One of my favorite tracks, if not my favorite.

Well, one great one came up to me last night. Basically, I was playing with this Mario Kart toy that I found, and I thought of a good track. Basically, the karts race around a kids room, and they're tiny. It'd be fun IMO.

Yeah that'd be good, it could be set in Baby Mario's nursery!

What about Wario stadium from 64? That's my all time favorite course. But for a new course, I'd expect to see something that has to do with Super Mario 3DS. It seems that some of the Mario Kart games have a course that refers to a big game on the system. Mario Kart 64 had the royal raceway from SM64 and Mario Kart DS had king goomba, from SM64 DS, in a mission. I know that MK:DD and MKW didn't have anything like this, but I think the 3DS should. I can't believe there wasn't an observatory (from Galaxy) course on MKW. Racing around the observatory would be so cool!

They should give Waluigi or Wario another track, i always find their tracks most appealing. or Make a Waluigi track based off that one Wario track in Double Dash. That was an awesome track...

My Pikmin are ready.

Supernin10do, you forget perhaps the best one: the beach level in Double Dash. That was Sunshine based. Mario Kart Wii is unfortunately your only exception.

I actually liked how the original Super Mario Kart was based all on different worlds of the same game. It might be interesting if they based each track on a galaxy from Galaxy 1 & 2, though it seems highly unlikely.

There was Peach Beach on GC so that references Mario Sunshine and the rainbow road in Mario Kart Wii had star bits and a launch star from Mario Galaxy

what about a track based off of random levels of super mario 64. You start at peach's castle and drive into random paintings. Though, I guess that would take a lot of work.

Maybe they could just include all of the retro tracks! With 2 GB, it's possible.

The only concern I have with that is that I can't see Nintendo creating 32 all-new tracks, the last 2 MK games have been 16 new, 16 old.

I think Coconut Mall from Wii and Daisy Cruiser from DD would be great, I also have to agree that Wario Stadium was an excellent 64 course! So was Yoshi's Valley!

I'm going to copy and paste from my post in another thread that's like this to give my thoughts.

Let's remember that these retro tracks will have to use the 3D to better effect. So with that in mind, I want:

Cup 1
SNES Ghost Valley 1
N64 Kalimari Desert
GBA Riverside Park
GCN Daisy Cruiser
DS Luigi's Mansion
Wii Mushroom Gorge (if they do Wii tracks)

Cup 2
SNES Mario Circuit 1
N64 Toad's Turnpike
GBA Cheese Land
GCN Sherbet Land
DS Waluigi Pinball
Wii Coconut Mall

Cup 3
SNES Donut Plains 2
N64 Royal Raceway (imagine making that huge jump in 3D!)
GBA Sunset Wilds
GCN Dino Dino Jungle
DS Airship Fortress
Wii Maple Treeway

Cup 4
SNES Ice track (don't remember the name)
N64 Rainbow Road (this would look beautiful in 3D!)
GBA Ribbon Road
GCN Bowser's Castle
DS Wario Stadium
Wii Dry Dry Desert

Battle Courses
SNES Battle Course 2
N64 Double Decker
GBA Battle Course 1
GCN Luigi's Mansion
DS Palm Shore
Wii Block Plaza
