I can hit 270 with my mii now at max power! Not really having a problem hitting my spots yet!

I think I'm starting to feel the loss of Sweet Spot and Control on my Mii.. I was at like 253 yards or so but the penalty of being off your mark on a swing is too much. I get too aggravated when swings don't go my way, lol. I actually find that the Wiggler Costume and a few other good items make a pretty well rounded Mii. Time will tell though, I need to unlock more stuff. I'm real close to 100 items.

But is that what your stats say? I noticed that I could reach much further than whatever my drive distance was supposed to be. Unless Miis can achieve a drive distance stat of 280+ yards while maintaining adequate sweet spot/control, I don't see them as an unfair advantage. Like I said, my drive stat is 253 and even at that point my sweet spot/control have really taken a hit. It's the star characters that pose more of a threat, and I am fairly certain that you've been outshot by star characters and not other Miis.

I do not have every item, though, so perhaps there is some OP equipment that will really boost up the drive distance.

This one-on one-putt challenge is bringing out a lot of anger and violent reaction. I just can't seem to get through it.

You need a maximum control character or equipment on your mii that gives you that since distance doesn't matter so if you miss your marks it won't harm you as much.

@Srg_Lundy Yes when I hit the power shot it says 270. I can hit my marks probably 75% of the time on my power shot but since its a maximum drive shot if I miss my target it won't effect me as much Since its a fairway shot anyways unless I'm taking a risky distance shot then I can be in trouble. Even then I'm usually close enough to the hole to get out of trouble. It all just takes practice at hitting those marks as consistent as possible and giving yourself a bit of breathing room if you don't!

I would say my longest drive because of wind, spin, and hill roll has to be about 325 yards!

Is it just me or is the camera kind of bad in this game? I am either doing something wrong or I just can't seem to pan it around and get the right angles that I'd really like to see from. It gets increasingly annoying when I'm trying to do the coin costume challenges and fail miserably. >_<

I think the camera is fine. Never had one problem. Not talking about you but I think people forget you can raise it or lower it on the touch screen. It makes all the difference. I always center my shot if it has a bad curve.

I do use those commands.. but it just seems like some levels the camera can't fully be utilized. It seriously gets on my nerves in cheep cheep lagoon. Maybe I'm just irritated right now because I have a head ache.. but it's like there are walls stopping my from going as high as I'd like and I can't turn to see certain angles. I don't recall having problems like this in earlier levels.. maybe it's a mix of all the obstacles and that incessant dinging it makes when your shot's being blocked, lol. I think I need to take a break.

Have you collected 600 coins and got the costume from Cheep Cheep yet? I believe it's the Peety Piranha costume.. I just can't figure out how to use those pipes airflow right to get all those coins. I know there has to be a trick to it.

They really are. I've unlocked I think about 4-5 of the costumes, but some of the challenges are just plain difficult, specifically the collect x amount of coins. It makes it even more annoying when you can't start over so it's hard to get practice, lol.

One of those 600 ones I thought I was going to fail as when I got to the last hole I only had 385, low and behold there was a pile of 4 50 coins that did the trick! Ended with 615! Got the Fuzzy costume.

Yeah, I failed that one, lol. Next time! I need to do the online stuff before the next 2 days are over. Just taking a small break from the game so I can come back and do those with a clear head to try and get a decent score. I scored like -17 in the NLife tournament which I know I can do better becaus I hit a couple of pars on holes that are normally a birdie for me. I need to do that again but I'm more worried about the other tournaments first. I'm a sucker for challenges to the point where I do them over and over until I get enraged, especially that Advanced putting practice. I just can't beat it. I haven't tried it with high control though. I'll have to give it a whirl..

That's what I thought at first, too. The menu option all the way to the right only takes you back to the challenges menu. Whenever I would miss a loop or a coin, I would click that, back out to the main menu, and then select the challenge all again. It turns out that the first option of the in-game menu is the restart option. It took me a couple days to realize that =P Hopefully this speeds things up for you a bit!

He's not talking about those. He's talking about the ones that open up in the pipes in the Club House. If you fail them you can't re-start them. You just have to wait till they show up again!

I just have one thing to say:

Give me my Hyrule course DLC now!!

I want some Par 3 on Death Mountain, hitting the ball without falling into the lava. Lost Woods with a lot of rough and OB areas, One inside Hyrule Castle garden. A cool Par 4 jumping from island to island on Lake Hylia. A huge Par 5 on Hyrule Field and wouldn't be awesome to have the Tee on Gerudo Valley right before the fallen bridge? And if you hit a cucco on Kakariko they just hit the ball until it's out of the field. Let's sign the petition now!!

Signed!

However instead let's just do away with all the Mario characters and replace them with Zelda ones and courses! And a few Metroid ones as well!

My little sister said a few days ago: "Wouldn't it be great to have a Mario Kart like game but with all Nintendo characters? Like taking all the Smash Bros chars and putting them in a kart game with their own specials and stuff". And then I said: "well... I think Nintendo should take this idea and make it work with every title. Like Nintendo Kart, Nintendo Tennis, Nintendo Golf, etc. It would be awesome!!". So, there's one for free, Nintendo. You're welcome!
