It's funny that Nintendo does DLC stuff a few years late compared to other companies and they are the only ones to get it right. You're basically getting a new game for that price... and judging by the screens, there will be a WiiU Mario Golf game getting announced soon - it seems that the team is already preparing to make some HD stuff.

Boo!! Lol. I'm expecting only 8s for this game anyways. That won't stop me from giving it 10s in my book!

@Spoony_Tech: An 8 is still a great score, you know...

I'm not surprised that people over on the comment section about this news think Nintendo's entering some sort of dark age of DLC.

I wonder if the DLC courses will be bundled according to theme? I prefer the more realistic courses (grass, trees, water hazards) so if it was possible to grab three of those in one grouping, that would be great.

I wonder how many of those complaining about it have even had experience with DLC on 360/PS3 or if they are just blindly hating it because its something 'the other guys' have only done?

The game looks to already be stacked with content, and you are getting the ability to double it for just $15! For COD, $15 just gets you two or three new maps, so $15 for six 18 hole courses is a steal.

Well then I wonder what they have to say about other games. Nintendo isn't cutting out any stuff from the game from what I've seen here - even Rosalina doesn't look like she was planned from the start. If it had any less content compared to other Mario Golf games then it could have been shady, but right now it seems like a smart move for those who want "more game". I hope that Nintendo does more DLC, of course it being completely optional. There are games such as Mario and Luigi in which I wouldn't care about DLC, but if you gave me more stuff in Smash Bros or new courses for Mario Kart, I'd jump right in.
I played a bit of MMOs earlier and I didn't spend a dime though, because they were all silly with the prices and stuff you get (I ain't paying for a damn gold that will disappear once I buy new gear).

Didn't Famitsu give KI:U 10,10,10? All I'm saying is an 8 from them seems low not that I don't think KI:U doesn't deserve it though.

I think it's the fact that it's a golf game is holding it back to ever achieve a perfect score, it's just weird to put a simple golf game on the same level as an epic story driven game with hours of action and cutscenes. It's basically a flaw with using a metric system to score all sorts of games, it just makes equations weird like that. Imo you should just +1 every score you see just for that reason, a 9 seems like a perfect score for a golf game.

Anybody mind letting me know what the demo contents were? I'm worried it won't be enough to contain my hype for the rest of the wait.

I don't think Nintendo is stupid. I believe they lowered the price to 30$ so we can consider the dlc even more. In the long run Nintendo will come out on top with the dlc at either 15$ more or 18$ depending on how people will pay!

lol, Season Passes aren't very beloved so it's kinda hard to blame them. That being said, $15 for 108 courses and some new characters is a good deal, as opposed to four maps in Call of Duty.

I had fun once and it was awful.
