Topic: Mario 3D Land 'Specials'

Just completed 3D Land, and now I have access to all the levels again but in a 'special mode'? What is this? The same levels but harder?

Something like that. Bits and pieces of earlier levels with other enemies and hazards tossed in. Some of them are timed runs or runs with other special types of twists. It seemed like busywork to me.

It's basically all 8 worlds but with slightly remade levels. The levels are harder and may be quite different to the other ones. Have fun.

You can freely go to any special level though by the looks of it, so what do you get from finishing each level?

Fun. The satisfaction of beating them.
If you get 4 stars on your profile, you can unlock a super secret level that is very hard. Beating it will net you a 5th star.

Actually you need 5 stars to get the hard level. Just look up "mario 3d land profile stars" in your preferred search engine. i.e. Google, Bing, etc.

The last one requires all of them, but if you streetpass people you can get more starcoins than are in the normal game.
