I could explain you why the Great Bay Temple is great, but you wouldn't understand it.

My favorite thing about the game is how the element of exploration is expanded to time, and not just space. It's really cool making a discovery that you find happens, say, only at night on the 3rd day.

That's usually a joy you'll find late in the game, though. But in my opinion, even though there are few dungeons, they're some of the most creative dungeons in the series.

@R_Champ

Uh...Link is looking for Navi in this game, not Skull Kid.

I think that friend is supposed to be Navi the fairy.

Yes, it is heavily implied that it is actually Navi.

Also, at the end, it is evident that he leaves to continue searching for Navi, even after returning the skull kid to normal and meeting him.

People often use the "stages of grief" theory to say that Link is dead, but I think it makes more sense that it's his own grieving over losing Navi.

Well, Hyrule Historia states that the reason that Link went on his journey was twofold. First, to escape from Hyrule with the Ocarina of Time so Ganondorf wouldn't enter the Sacred Realm and second, to look for Navi, so I suppose that settles that discussion.

EDIT: Screw quoting the post I'm responding to, the quote system is messed up today, I think we all know who I'm responding to.

It's just the way I quoted it. I use that [code]

to post things with asterisks without going bold, etc., and I also put a bunch of spaces in the "quote from" line with the narration. The system translates all of that to a language it can understand, but it freaks out when it has to translate it back when someone decides to quote or edit it. It's something the system managers here should think of fixing.

I didn't know that about Hyrule Historia, and that makes a lot of sense. Considering I'm a huge fan of the series, I should probably get that book. People just made it out to be this book that kinda forced answers to all of these questions, what with the huge debate on the timeline.

The only thing about the timeline I'm not entirely convinced about is the fact that Four Swords Adventures somehow takes place after Twilight Princess in a world that looks almost identical to the ALttP Hyrule.

Thanks all, your feedback has been invaluable. Looks like I'll be picking it up on launch. Too bad I missed preordering the special edition because I was at work when it went on sale!

My advice at this point would be a total media blackout now; no trailers, gameplay impressions, forum threads (=P), etc. Just walk into a shop (or eshop) on the 13th and pick it up.

It's almost like they made it all up to appease westerners obsessed with extraneous continuity...
