Topic: Majora's Mask 3D release date June 30th?

Just saw this on Best Buy Canada's site.

It's a placeholder. Besides, Nintendo says Spring 2015, which typically ranges from March 1 to May 30, from a business standpoint.

Usually, when a retailer sets a date that's the last day of the month, it's a placeholder. Besides, Nintendo games release on Friday, not Tuesday.

Ah okay, what about the note above the preorder button... "The product should leave our warehouse by January 14th, 2015." I know thats a Wednesday but maybe the goal would be to have it arrive for people on Friday? I'm more interested in learning when the new 3DS is coming rather than the game. Trying to decide if I should wait or get an XL now.

I wouldn't trust Best Buy. To be honest, I don't trust any retailer when it comes to release dates. The best way to determine a release date for a game is through Nintendo's information. All other release date information is purely speculative.

Spring = Q2, so retailers just default the date to the end of Q2, which is June 30.

They really should just put "placeholder" at the end of these dates, lol

That seems kind of late to bot be a placeholder. I mean they didnsay it was coming out before both Zelda Wii U and Starfox U.

I'm seeing ads all over the place for the game. I seriously doubt they'd be running those now if it was being released in June. I'm guessing March or April.
