I haven't played original Luigi's Mansion as it's hard to find GameCube games in Finland these days and I'm not going to try finding them now as Wii U won't play GameCube games anymore but I'm looking forward this new Luigi's Mansion. I'm sure to get it when the time is right.

I loved the Gamecube one, so this will be on my 3DS list if I buy a 3DS.

I am one of those people who was a die-hard Luigi's Mansion fan because of its status as a creepy Nintendo oddball gem. I really hope that this new one lives up to it. The footage I've seen, though, looks slightly rough in texture and there needs to be more darkness, as far as lighting goes; ghosts popping out at me in lit rooms is both too cartoonish and takes away from the general dread of entering a dark one. If Luigi's Mansion 2 is to live up to its predecessor, it's all about tone.

It's not just about tone, but primarily the gameplay. I hope it has some new innovations! I really can't wait for this game!

Well, there's supposed to be an "Action" button now, right? I'm kinda going by memory here but I think I heard that from somewhere.

Not to copy GabeGreens, but this was the game that sold me on the 3DS. I was looking at the Vita because of the better specs and controls, but honestly all I wanted it for was to finally play an Uncharted game. When this was announced, it reminded me that even if the 3DS gets little third-party support, Nintendo games are what I have the most fun playing. Nintendo has been doing almost everything else wrong, but they know how to make great games.

if you want to play an Uncharted game, PS3 will soon have 3 anyway.

And likely far better ones too if PSP ports of popular Sony series are any indication.

I don't get to play too many hardcore games on the TV, since my daughters much prefer stuff like Wii Sports Resort and Just Dance 2. They will watch me play Mario and Zelda games, as well as a few other odds and ends like Zack & Wiki. Because of that, and the fact that Naughty Dog is the only Sony-associated developer that clicks with me, I don't own a PS3.

This game sounds nice, but is not a day one buy for me.

Luigi's Mansion was the first gamecube game I played. I feel the memories coming back. The only thing I see missing is the "item get" track that plays after Luigi obtains an item.

I'm still going to get this game on day one, even without that epic track.

Luigi's Mansion is awesome. I got it the day I got my NGC as well. The music throughout was brilliant, and I hope it makes a return in places in LM2. Definate day 1 purchase. I probably played through the first more than any other game I had on the cube. Although it was short, it was brilliant.

Wouldn't it be something if Nintendo actually releases this game somewhere around Thanksgiving?

Luigi's Mansion 2 & Paper Mario 3DS are my most anticipated 3DS games right now.

I like that we'll be able to visit more than one mansion, so we'll be able to have different styles of mansions. Like with that mummy tomb.

They should keep the game over face from the 1st game's beta!

I love how Luigi fist-pumps when he clears the room of ghosts and dances a little when collecting a key. It's also nice that they still do the little cutscenes before Luigi opens the door. This will be my most anticipated game for early next year!

I hope they manage to make it more varied than the first one. It was a lill' bit repetitive. I wonder what the story will be? Mario kidnapped again?

I am going to cry now the first one was such a diffrent game from others it had its own flow and it was fun. it is in my top 5 games of all time. this is my most wanted game for next year. I better come out before they have thougths of geting it cancelled
