Just noticed that, looks like Tanooki Mario might be able to transform into a statue after all... Can't wait to see how it works out.

Luigi might be unlocked upon beating the game, like in New Super Mario Bros and Galaxy.

Definitely Luigi; I'm guessing the green scarf is a reference to that.

Perhaps some sort of Green Star challenge here..?

Its good to see Luigi is in this and it looks like you will still be able to transform into a statue when in Tanooki form which is good too.

The game doesn't have multiplayer though does it? If Luigi was in it it should probably have multiplayer.

Huh? Luigi was in both Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 but they never had multiplayer. And since this is made by the same people, I'd expect the same thing to happen.

It's cool that Green Mario who gets nervous sometimes is in the game, I certainly hope he's playable. I just hope he doesn't end up being the only form of unlockable in the entire game again, and he actually has his slidey shoes and higher jump. I just don't know if I prefer the way he was used in SMG, or SMG2 more... actually, I think I forgot the difference. I just remember he wasn't playable till the end of Galaxy 1, and until certain conditions were met, he could only be played as every now and then in Galaxy 2.

Also the statue makes me wonder if either
A. There IS some way to become a statue ( though im not sure what the practicality of that would be in a 3D game ) or
B. You find these statues in order to PLAY as Luigi ( sort of like how you ran into him in Galaxy 2 )

Who knows? Maybe it's a lot like Kirby's stone ability in Kirby Super Star? Maybe Mario can transform into a statue, and he randomly transforms into Luigi?

Except Kirby SuperStar isn't 3D.

And Mario turning into Luigi? What even the heck? ...Whatever. Yoshi turned into EVERYBODY in SM64DS.
