My little sister (who is 7) pointed this out to me the other day! We noticed that the music in ice stages in SM3DL sounds a whole lot like Saria's Song from LoZ OoT. I was playing SM3DL, but my sister thought I was playing LoZ OoT, because of the music!
Now, I ask you this:
1. Did you notice this?
2. Is it just a coincidence, or is it actually a remix of Saria's Song?

It does sound like an ocarina and has a tambourine in it, so I suppose that could contribute to the similarity. The rhythm also bears a slight resemblance to Saria's Song.

I kind of see it now, but...
If you want zelda music in completely unrelated games, try Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley:
The spring theme sounds a little bit too much like zelda's lullaby:
And the winter theme starts just like kakariko villiage's theme:
@Morphtroid I want to believe these are kinda like tribute songs for the original ones. The first one sounds exactly the same and the second has that rhythmic base that may be kinda normal (C-Am-Dm-G7)... but the arpeggio is played exactly the same! What were they thinking?
