Topic: Lost Planet E.X. Troopers

Ok, Keiji Inafune is a wrong idiot in this particular case, his bland Lost Planet (the good Lost Planet, I should add) I played is already far less interesting than this trailer.

If we were talking about the 3ds version i could actually understand, but for ps3, all of the environments are so...bland. Also, it will be interesting to see the control scheme on 3ds.

That's more the fault of the franchise.

I am in love. I didn't think Capcom could make something like that anymore, surely another company is helping them with it?

The art reminds me of.. MML3... It looks like it plays like the MML games too.

You're right, I wouldn't be surprised if the used the remaining ideas and assets from MML3. Might also be why it's on 3DS in the first place.

The gameplay looks pretty generic. It should fit in perfectly on the PS3.

well Inafune made both series and I remember Lost Planet playing like that.

looks like a 6/10 game.

It doesn't look terrible to me, so I'll wait to hear more about it before I start judging it. It'll definitely be interesting to see which version turns out to be better (the cartoony look leads me to believe it's better suited for the 3DS).

All this hate? I don't understand any of you. That game looks amazing. It looks like MML3 did, which is by NO means a bad thing. I shall wait for reviews, but I do hope it's good.

OH WOW...I mean, I expected an anime style, but...wow...

As for the hate already appearing around this game; why? Was Lost Planet really that bad of a game? I just found the demo of the first game to be slightly entertaining. Does it really deserve the assumption that it will forever suck no matter what?

EDIT: ...and it just hit me that the trailer is techno-tastic! I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing though...

I can't understand it either. They saw 5 seconds of gameplay of a game that's likely still in alpha and assume it's bad. How? I couldn't read anything from those few seconds, I couldn't even tell what kind of game it was, yet somehow these guys can already determine whether or not it's good or bad? Da ****???
