Topic: Lost 3DS with digital purchases....any options?

If you have no new files on the SD card, just insert it in your computer and do the following:

1. Find the drive folder for your SD Card (Should have a folder named "Private" and a couple of randomly named folders)

• Note: If you use Windows (not sure about Mac or Linux), the folder may automatically pop up on your screen

2. Simply delete all the folders on the SD Card
3. Put it back in your 3DS and let the system format it

GASP. I am looking at my games list for redownloading and I see 4 games here that I NEVER BOUGHT. One of them is a game I actually don't like much so I never would have bought it. Did Nintendo give them to me 'cause of my sad issue?

It's not really a "risk" per se, as Nintendo can and will help you recover your lost games. The problem is that recovery is just a much bigger hassle than it needs to be and both Sony and Microsoft have better systems for it.

UPDATE: My lost limited edition Zelda Link Between Worlds 3DS XL has been found!!!!!

It turned up at the place I was previously staying at for a few weeks.

Now I am not sure what to do. I got my digital content back on my replacement 3DS XL so now I have it on both. I like my animal crossing save on my old 3DS better. I guess I can play that as long as I dont connect to the internet. I like the gold one better than the blue too. Now I can't go back to my gold 3DS being my main system. If I connect to the internet it will disable all my content I think. Advice? I guess I can do a transfer form my blue one back to the gold one but then I lose my animal crossing save right?

I actually didn't think Nintendo was that advanced in the digital content area! I wouldn't be surprised if you could play it on both!
