Sorry, not available in the EU. What can we do but ask Nintendo to remedy the situation? Email them if you're bothered.
Pulled the other thread because someone said petitions were only allowed in signatures. Thanks.
Anyway, I realise that Special Miis are quite rare in the US too, though at least 24 have been released there, enough to get the accomplishment twice over. The EU has had 9 and none since E3*2013*! Quite a small thing really in the grand scheme of things, but surely easy to fix too and completely incomprehensible. What did Europe do to have this feature annulled by lack of distribution? We get all other SpotPass content so can't see how localisation could be the problem. All I'd like is to be able to get the accomplishment that I've been trying to get for 3 years now and it is totally outside of my control.
If this is not an issue for you, then feel free to pass it by altogether. Please do not feel the need to tell me that I should not be bothered because I surely do not feel the need to know. I just would like the opportunity to get the accomplishment, that's all. If it doesn't happen, I'll live.
I agree, games shouldn't be impossible. StreetPass Mii Plaza is.
I have completed every game in the StreetPass Mii Plaza multiple times. It isn't impossible. Plus don't you just have to go to McDonalds to get like 6 streetpasses?

I tend to get many passes myself, however one of the accomplishments is not actually possible, and nobody who owns a PAL 3DS has completed it.

Er, yes, 6 StreetPass hits can be had at a few places, in the UK wherever there's a "cloud" service. However, no Special Miis have ever been released from a relay. They're only delivered via SpotPass in the same way Nintendo gives notifications for extra game content etc - the blue light. Also, there's an accomplishment to get 90 000 StreetPass hits so 6 is kind of a drop in the ocean... It would take 15 000 visits to MacDonalds - once a day would take you just over 42 years!!! Even twice a day would mean 21 years. There's an 8 hour delay between using the same relay again, so you'd be lucky to get 2 chances a day from the same place. There are probably about 4 places I could easily get hits on a daily basis, but I'd only be able to hit up each relay once, taking practicality into consideration. That makes 24 hits per day. Even if I never missed a single day, that would still take 3750 days or about 10 years 3 months... I'm not sure the battery will last that long and pretty confident I'll lose interest way before that... I wish I'd never bothered with the accomplishments now - it's just so ridiculously impossible. I've got the ones directly related to the (great) games, but the peripheral ones make me wonder why Nintendo put them there in the first place if we have little or no likelihood of ever attaining them and why they don't just get rid of them if they're not actually going to support them.

First, I was talking to the person that said the StreetPass games were impossible. Second, no one is saying McDonald's is the only way to get StreetPasses, sorry you don't get enough StreetPasses but I get plenty of hits. I have all but 1 hat cause I forgot to get a second hat from the Ghost Mansion game. Achomplishments (just like achievements) aren't meant for everyone to be able to complete in a reasonable amount of time. If you don't enjoy the StreetPass games then don't play them. If you do enjoy them then use your 10 coins per day to purchase Miis to play them. Sorry to hear the UK doesn't get Special Miis, not sure why that is. Here in the US we got one for each day of E3, plus 1 after each Direct.

I think there's been some confusion. It's not that the StreetPass games are impossible in themselves. It's the accomplishments that form part of the StreetPass software that are impossible. Granted, calling that a game is a bit of a stretch perhaps, but it is actually part of a game as well since many of the accomplishments are tied to the games. I love the StreetPass games and I've actually got plenty of hits - 46 349. That wouldn't be possible without Homepass though and I just wanted to point out that the targets are pretty unreasonable and the relays are helpful, but hardly address the accomplishments at all. It's the special mii thing that bothers me most. Putting in a lot of effort to finish something off is one thing, but I don't consider "never" to be a reasonable timeframe. What would be the point? I'm expecting the US to get a special mii during the upcoming StreetPass Weekend. It is weird how variable everything is across regions - release dates, promotions, Club Nintendo. We'd all probably like a bit more parity.
@Tortoise
I have HomePass to get hits. The high targets make other ways of getting hits a joke outside of Japan if you're going for the accomplishments. But it's the special mii accomplishment that is most irritating because I can't work towards it. I can't do anything about it. Nintendo just doesn't release special miis in the EU. It would be nice to know why.
I just want to point out that North America just received another Special Mii.
I'm sorry, Europe.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

Well, thanks anyway, Brewsky. All we got is a Halloween theme and then only if you're selected on Club Nintendo or if your 3DS has a NNID and you selected to get notifications via the 3DS set up screen. Hmm, again I have to ask, "Nintendo, what ARE you doing? It's completely incomprehensible."

They want people to sign up for their notifications. Or were you talking about the Special Mii thing?

Hi there! I don't think I'll ever understand about the lack of special miis in the EU. What did we do?
Another annoying thing are the conditions for getting promotional material. Some people got the Halloween theme code here and others didn't. Nintendo sent out a message today saying that selected Club Nintendo members got the code, but that also, everyone that had connected their 3DS to a NNID should also get the code. They didn't specify that the notifications in the 3DS system settings had to be set to "yes", though, so lots of people are disappointed. I can understand them wanting people to sign up to newsletters etc, but they don't make it clear that you can only get promotional stuff that way. Makes it feel unfair to lots of people. Guess we know now though, eh? The differences in Club Nintendo rewards is also something that gets lots of mention in the comments here. And promotions. The US has this, EU has that, lots of places have nothing. It's all a bit inconsistent. And that Halloween theme will be available within a week for a few pence, so it's not that great a "reward". It's like that ORAS dual pack listed for the US. All you get is 200 potions. I guess that's alright, but not as good as a discount for buying both versions together.
Have you managed to do StreetPass Squad arcade mode on hard yet with one mii to get through all the missions? That's really hard. Glad they didn't include an accomplishment for that!
