Now that I would welcome. I still haven't finished it on DS but it's a very cool game. One of the best on the system. And one of the more advanced too.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

What about Warioware DIY? That game was so fun! I spent hours on that game, and even had a couple of games featured in the competitions!

Long live the BBC Micro.

@ZenTurtle: yes that game was absolutely amazing, even as somebody who codes on a more complicated level, the tools in warioware DIY were so intuitive, fast and it is amazing the variety of games you could make. And the music creator was awesome too.

Tales of Innocence. Needs a sequel on the 3DS. Not a bloody port of its predecessor (seriously wtf)

Nevermind me. It got a spinoff title, Tales of the World: Reve Unitia.
Looks like this series is sticking hard to PlayStation, and what games we do get on Nintendo consoles never see releases over here.

@Wonky_Kong I think it is a little bit limited (especially with the extremely short length of games) but it really did allow me to see how simple and fun it is to make my own games! The music creator was great, I agree, but I found myself using it to generate songs, as they were quite catchy and at times odd and unpredictable! It is such a pity they can't make another one, as the Wifi server shutdown took away one of the game's most interesting features. I live in hope.

Long live the BBC Micro.

@ZenTurtle i would like to see a new one for the WiiU or 3DS but it is unlikely, i wonder what sales were like.

EDIT: Sold just over 150,000 in japan, dont know western figures, but thoses figures are average i guess.

Just call it Super WarioWare Maker and it will sell much better than the orignal. I never cared for the WarioWare titles, but the D.I.Y. one did interest me. But without the online, it's not as much fun and I'd rather wait for a sequel.

150,000 in Japan for a DS game is kinda bad actually, if that's the kind of sales Warioware gets then I'm not surprised we don't have one.

I would love the Wario Ware series more generally to make a comeback, a full blown 3DS sequel with 200 or so Nintendo created Microgames and some sort of DIY mode, with online sharing of games and multiplayer based on the GC game would be the dream.

Not really. It looks and plays like a low budget title (owing to its very niche audience), and I'm sure that it was made with a fairly small team. Bear in mind that most games aren't going to be selling in the millions or even over half a million. Sure, WarioWare: D.I.Y. wouldn't be considered to be a rousing success by any stretch, but it isn't a total failure either. I'd blame its poor sales on a complete lack of marketing (the game was released with no fanfare whatsoever).

"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"

I think it was more of an experiment than anything. I think they were testing the waters with it. The microgames included did not seem much more complex than the ones the game allowed users to create, so I think it could have been some sort of in-house development tool for rapid prototyping, that the developers found fun and decided to release. I bet they could make another Warioware DIY and release it on the eshop. Or re-release the original with the internet features restored. I live in hope

@ZenTurtle: the premade micro games are simple because they were made with the development tools provided with the game.

That way the player can look around their "code" and learn.

The Legendary Starfy. I wish they would atleast even put out some in Japan but the series really gets no recognization by Nintendo anymore besides an Assist Trophy in Smash Bros. It's a really good franchise overlooked by many.

Golden Sun Dark Dawn for DS........what about 3DS?

Now I haven't played the other two games but I like it enough that I'd like to see a sequel to it.

After so long...I'm back. Don't ask why

As far as I know, Microsoft liked the DS.

They even got far into making a Halo game for the DS, but it was cancelled.

I think the game itself (VP) was developed by THQ, but it obviously credits Rare and shows the rare logo.

There's also Zoo Tycoon 2 DS. Zoo Tycoon has always been a Microsoft IP despite it also being on Mac and Nintendo handhelds.

I have been hoping beyond hope that Phantasy Star Zero would have got a sequel on 3DS. For the time it was ahead of its time with absolutely flawless online gameplay. I made many friends online because of that game and still talk with those people until this day. Sega could have done it early in the 3DS life and it would probably still be the best online game on the system or give Monster Hunter a run for its money.

Couldn't agree more. I'm actually jumping into the game a bit late so I've been spreading the word so I have people to play online with on the emulated WFC.
