I bought Paper Mario Sticker Star recently and the reason that I'm old enough to drink in the States makes me think that the game is a bit too childish for my age ? Or am I wrong ? Let me know NL community !!

what does being old enough to drink have to do with anything? if we're using that logic then i shouldn't be playing a lot of games! :3 but i haven't played sticker star though i was thinking about picking it up the other day. but i think mario's more charming than it is childish
If you mean "plot should be less flat", yes, but I think that it's a good game. But I get why people are disappointed. So much hype for the game before it came out and now all people remember is the backlash of disappointment!
I haven't played Sticker Star yet, but I've played the other Paper Mario games and I can safely say they are in no way "childish", it's just a bad Paper Mario game. Besides, I'm sure it's more than just collecting stickers and using them in battle y'know.

I don't quite see the game as a dissapointment (mostly because it was my first PM game).
The thing I think society looks down when you are playing that game in a public space, ain't it ?

I, for one, don't think that anything beyond the letters/numbers/learning games are for kids only, and even then if an old guy plays those and enjoys them, who am I to stop them? What's important in a game is to enjoy it, no matter how it looks or how it plays! Less thinking, more enjoying your time, it's not like you will live forever
All videogames playing is childish. It's a childish habit. There's nothing per se wrong with it, but it is childish because it's a sort of escapism, fantasy, make-belief.

I hope you're joking or trying to be ironic, because that's exactly the image video gaming has moved past in the last, say, 10 years or so?
Honestly if that is your problem well than maybe you shouldn't be playing video games. And I dont know what being old enough to drink has to do with anything. Heck I usually drink when I am playing video games.
