lego lord of the rings for 3ds will have open world! Also the demo was great when i played freeplay i loved playing as LEGOlas i laughed at the part when pippin said "thats nice" The part with the bird was frustrating though. i think lego lotr handheld is definately an improvement to lego batman 2 handheld

if you're correct about the open world, then it's a huge improvement over the batman game. i remember the batman graphics being horrible, like DS bad.

if an official nintendo magazine says it will have open world il beleive it. if you look hard enough you can find screenshots of open world 3ds gameplay. ive found one in bree, the shire and in rohan
I played the demo, and actually enjoyed it (the bird isn't that annoying. Just go up to the cliff first thing, and it'll go to it's nest. Then go back down and do the puzzles).
I may get one of these Lego games one of these days, because I've enjoyed what I've experienced (rented Star Wars 3 on 3DS, but it froze after the first mission. Batman: DC Super Heroes DEMO. Lord of the Rings DEMO).
