Like the title poster I am a big Lego video game fan so I thank pixelman for the update - especially because there's not enough hype out there about the game IMHO. I'm DEFINATELY buying the 3DS version but not at launch. I'll be getting it in April along with Asphalt 3DS and Okamiden DS. Launch day its Super Monkey Ball, SSFIV and Pilotwings!

I would think that there's at least local, multi-card multiplayer. Even the DS Lego games had local multiplayer support, so I can't imagine that they'd cut the feature out entirely, especially given that the 3DS is more powerful.

They need to make a Star Wars Battlefront for 3DS. That space footage proves it. Even if they made a Lego StarWars Battlefront, I'd get it. But I think I'll pass on this one.

Yes, I really hope LEGO SW III will have at lest local multiplayer even if it fails to have Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection online game play.
