I don't know about you guy's but I got pirates & star wars in lego 3ds version's earlier this year & ended up trading them in. Quite honestly I was a little dissappointed in both & the lego series as a whole. I get quite a kick out of still making thing's with the actual block's & even playing the lego video games & normally there work is pretty top notch when it comes to lego games but as for the 3ds lego games go. I'm really dissappointed in them.

The best lego game I've played & still have is Lego Indiana Jones DS still my favorite. When ever they announce the release date for Lego City Stories for the 3DS I was going to get it & was looking forward to playing it after a good while of waiting but now am really having second thought's with two dudd's on the 3ds for so called lego games & especially seeing the other two they released in lego blehh harry potter & lord of the ring's for the 3ds yuck... I wouldn't even spit in that direction as for getting either game.

It's ashame that the lego series have really gone down hill in recent years as for the games. I can't say that I'll continue to support them in buying lego games if they continue to make games like that. I did really like & enjoy the lego series now just dissappointed in there games.

Anyone else dissatified with the lego games as well?

Happy Gaming! (^_^)

I love LEGO Batman on the Wii... can't wait for LEGO City Undercover on the Wii U.
I really liked the DC Super Heroes Demo for the 3DS.
1) There is no such thing as City Stories anymore, it's now LEGO City Undercover, please stop calling it that.
2) LEGO City Undercover isn't coming to the 3DS, it's exclusive to the Wii U.

Lego Star Wars for the 3DS was repetitive and boring at best. It didnt build on anything that its previous installments started. Sure they upgraded the graphics, and the 3D is nice at times, but the game is horrendously easy, classes are badly balanced, there still arent any more than 5-6 enemies ever on screen, the hub is lifeless and boring, there no nice multiplayer modes, and it pretty much sums up why it'll be the last one I buy.

If you're new to the series it's still quite fun, but I'd recommend the DS version that had the awesome multiplayer modes - even if you are losing out on the graphics.

LEGO Lord of the Rings seems good.

The Lego games on the DS were fine, bar some terrible glitches in the earlier Lego games(Lego Star Wars 2,I'm looking at you),they were a fun different take on the console versions.

Lego games on the Wii are all pretty similar to the other main home console versions bar the HD,and DLC,the only faults with the Wii versions are that the framerate are absolutely terrible, and you do sometimes get the odd glitch here, and there.

The only Lego games I've played on the 3DS is the absolutely terrible Lego Pirates,it felt like a Frankenstien mix of the Wii,and DS versions,it didn't have multi-player,and it felt like an overall lack of polish.I'll never buy a 3DS Lego game again.

Lego Batman 2 DC Superheroes is my favourite Lego game in the series, and funny, and very enjoyable game, and the open world was amazing.
Lego City Undercover looks like it'll be the best in series, when it comes out.

Try the console versions. They're a lot better in my opinion.

I've only played Lego harry Potter Years 1-4 for the DS, I had quite a bit of fun with it; however, I checked it out from the library, and I wasn't at all sad to let it go back. So it was good for about a week, but I was about done with it by then.

I have to admit Lego Star Wars 3DS was lovely however Lego Batman 2 doesnt seem to have the same polish
Are they not made by the same people?

The Lego games are all made by TT Games, though Lego City Undercover is being co-created with Nintendo.

My husband thought the same thing. It's been his favourite ... all the exploring to do. He enjoys it because there's a lot to discover that isn't just killing bad guys.

I myself really enjoy the LEGO games. When we first got the Wii I bought LEGO Star Wars to try to get my non-gaming husband into it. We have had hours of fun playing together. I've played a few of them on my 3DS, and really enjoy the Pirates and Harry Potter series. The DS versions are quite short in comparison, but I still enjoyed them. They're not overly taxing .. but then, that's the way I like to play.

If you think it's going downhill, you need to play the console versions, all of the portable ones I've played were highly inferior.

I used to travel the stars, then I discovered Earth, and these incredibly addicting things called 'Video Games.'
And they said you couldn't buy happiness!
