Topic: Legendaries, how? (Y Version)

Hey everybody! How do i obtain legendary pokemons and/or a specific type of pokemon? I havent played since GBA-Pokémon and back then i just finished the game and moved on. I really enjoyed Pokemon Y, even to the point that i want to hunt down as many legendaries as i can. I have read about many different legendaries on the GTS and different websites but how do i obtain them? Could somebody list all the legendaries that are available? I would be extremely happy (and preferably how to get them aswell, next to their name).

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i feel kind of lost on this subject.

You can find a list of all the legendary pokemon you can find in X/Y here. For any others you'll have to transfer them from previous games or use the GTS.

Okay previous game's is a no-go. I'm not really interested in those, hope i can trade myself the others on GTS!

Or would you say that it's worth it to get Pokémon white/black 1+2? For the experience alone? Are they fun?

If you enjoyed playing the older games, which I personally don't think you did, then just enquire around and I'm sure someone could sort you out. Or, as you said, try GTS - but the things people ask for are ludicrous!*

If you do enjoy them, then it's a no-brainer.

Haha Well i loved gold/silver back in the day so maybe one of those. I'll probably skip Black/White! Thanks for the answer though.

Black/White 2 has a TON of legendaries, and I enjoyed it even more than X. That being said, X was my first time playing pokemon, but still. HG is quite good too!

You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?
