Topic: Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D

ever since i finished ocarina of time 3D, I've waited and waited for Nintendo to announce Majora's mask 3D. so far, I've only heard that they're "thinking about it". lately I've lost hope. let me know when you think it will be announced, what you think about it's arrival to 3DS, basically anything related to MM3D. if possible, it'd be cool if you guys could even post the latest news.

Sorry, there is no latest news. Aonuma teased a new Zelda game through Swapnote a while back, Miyamoto has gone on record saying he'd like to update ALTTP or even make a sequel. But there is no news on MM3D.

Aonuma said that he "hopes to do something with it" in the future but that a new Zelda will come out first.
I'll be really disappointed if they don't make it, since they have hinted at it so much. And it would be so easy for them to make.

i hope they do majoras mask haves the most replay value in my opinion and playing as a goron etc is very cool thats why i liked it more then ocarina but please keep the deity glitch walking with it around was so freaking epic butyes i think it will be released sometime after the original zelda made for 3ds

It's not happening right now, they said they want to make an original Zelda game for the 3DS before working on Majora's Mask. It's gonna happen at some point...but not until another Zelda game comes out for the thing.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I really want it to happen too. I've never actually played MM, so if it came out next I wouldn't be mad at all!

It'll happen I'm sure, it'd be a good money maker. But as others said, they'll make an original/new Zelda before another remake.

It'll happen. It's an easy money maker, there's tonnes of fan support and all-in-all there's just no reason that they shouldn't.

I'd like to have a new Zelda game with Link to the Past and Majora's Mask remakes as games to unlock. Unfortunately that will never happen.
