Topic: Launched SpotPass Content

I am curious to know how many notifications and content has been released via SpotPass, without any kind of list to be found, and many people with the same software having more, fewer or just different norifications, I would like to ask you How many SpotPass notifications/content have you revieved? And from which software? ... oh and your region.

I have a US 3DS with 10 system notifications (which I think are actually preloaded, not downloaded), and 3 for SSFIV3DE (Welcoming, Blanka figure code, Honda code) I think I missed the update notification because I updated it on my 1st boot.

I've gotten a few from SSFIV3D, and I've heard that Samurai Warriors and Dead or Alive use SpotPass.

I've never gotten anything at all. Not from Nintendo or Capcom. I think when the update for eShop comes, my 3DS' Spot Pass will be working properly.

Make sure you have configured internet setting, wi-fi on and parental controls off... Is StreetPass & online gaming working?

Oh yeah. I do have parental controls on but not when it comes to online interaction and stuff that would interfere with SpotPass and Streetpass. I have locks on games and purchasing eShop content in case my 3DS gets stolen or something (doubt that would happen anyhow). Streetpass and online gaming are perfectly fine though.

I'm hoping that it's just a tiny glitch in my 3DS and the update should fix it... I hope.

I haven't gotten anything yet. But then again, i do live in Australia...

I haven't recieved anything from SpotPass except for those preloaded ones telling you about the software and shtuff.

I've got two from Dead or Alive, already four from Samurai Warriors: Chronicles and two from SSF43D.

Did you say Honda code? I never recieved that. Do you remember on what date it came out? I heard that SpotPass content can be re-downloaded by changing the time, I've tested it out when I missed a SW:C notification.

I think there were 2 dog breeds given out via spotpass some time ago in Nintendogs.

Really now? The SpotPass on Nintendogs only includes community messages about your dog breeds/Mii and 3D photos on my case.

I got two SpotPasses in Nintendogs...both of them were effectively StreetPass data for different United States Presidents from the past. So obviously, that would be content only given to residents of the US, I suppose, thus explaining abgar and G-MaxiMillion having differing reports.

EDIT: Oh, I also got the one for the firmware update...several weeks AFTER I'd already updated it. Looks like some things definitely haven't improved from the Wii...

Got the built in SpotPass Notifications, one for the System Update and four from Samurai Warriors but none from Street Fighter. Did anyone else get Street Fighter Notifications in the UK or did the UK miss out.

Oh, i haven't get any notification from nintendogs, but i do seem to have the dog breeds anyways.

Well, you unlock dog breeds through methods other than SpotPass...it says so right on the game's box. Now, I'm not sure what all those methods ARE, but if you never got a notification, then you probably didn't get a SpotPass.

well, i simply had some more breeds after not playing for some time, so i don't know.

can someone say what breeds are the spotpass ones? that way can check if i have these.

So far, the only SpotPass notifications I've received were from Nintendogs + Cats and Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition.

Its sad for me to confirm my suspects about bad quality service SpotPass (not working all the time, for all titles for everyone)

@G-MaxiMillion: I dont know if changing the date works, but if you do that there is a glitch in 3DS that prevents you from taging again users from whom you got StreetPass hit(s) on days between now and the date you changed your 3ds to (and also erases Activity log from same days). If you are still willing to go back in time for the notification, the date I got it is April 11, by reading this thread I know there is a chance that other people got it other days, being the last SpotPass I recieved, made me think the feature is scrwed.

@everyone : which was the date and software of your last Spotpass notification?
I think the only way to get SpotPass for SSFIV3DE is if you selected you wish to do so the first time you launch it, seeing as it wont ask you again even erasing the game and since there is no SpotPass management screen (as the one for StreetPass) on the system, the only way to get SpotPass for this game if you opted out, or skipped the setting on the first boot is to erase the game AND format 3DS (worked for me, at least until my last SpotPass back in April's first week)
