Who else is happy that this is a traditional platformer rather than a gimmicky game like Mass Attack?

I AM!!!!!!!!

I'm not saying Mass Attack is a bad game but instead of Kirby, It shoulder been Mario because all you do in Mass Attack is jump on enemies and use the kirby's to solve puzzles. The worst part of the game is this achievement thing where one achievement is impossible and tedious to achieve! Its HELL!

I've been missing on a lot of Kirby, but I find the Kirby I missed a lot of is the old, traditional platformer kind. And this one delivers it in absolute certainty, I feel like this is another one I'm going to buy Day 1 or PO-ing. :3

Comes out January 11th in Japan, so I'm thinking EU and NA will get it before E3.

Its release is much, much sooner than I originally thought. Spring was when I thought it would come, and it may still for the West (hopefully not), but January 11 in Japan? That's just around the corner! I think it may be sooner than the gap between the announcement and release of New Super Mario Bros. 2.

Happy 35th anniversary, Donkey Kong!

I'm glad I have something to look forward to in 2014 in terms of 3DS. I'm pretty sure Nintendo will be focusing on the Wii U that year. Here's what I plan to get for my 3DS in 2014:

1. Kirby Triple Deluxe (of course!)
2. Super Smash Bros. 3DS (I also plan to get the Wii U version.)
3. Yoshi's New Island
4. Mario Party Island Tour (maybe; I know this is coming out in a week but I'm probably not going to get it this year.)
5. Sonic Lost World 3DS (maybe)
6. Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon (if nothing else good is out)

And I'll also get games that haven't been announced for 2014 yet but will be. Also, Mario Golf World Tour isn't on the list because I don't really want it that much.

you have a good taste for games! your 2014 list is almost the same as mine!(except for games released this year and I'm not too fond of adventure time )

That art is wonderful. Oh yeah, I wonder who that figure is at the top-left corner of the image?

it kinda makes me think maybe this was already under development for a really long while before the announcement to release so fast, most Nintendo games are first announced almost half year before release. if that's the case Nintendo should do it more. I mean it would be great to not have an announcement until the game is almost ready for release this way there are no delays(at least no delays known by the public) and far less pressure to the designers!

I think the North American and Europe release will have a different box art. I mean look here

Back then NOA thought it would be too kiddish so they made him serious. But now they might make him happy because of it targeting for casual audience and controversial content.

I haven't been this hyped for a game since GTA 5 (Okay, that wasn't very long ago, I'll admit....but...still!).
