I bought a 2ds for my daughter to christmas and had the chance of a buy 3 games pay for 2 at a store. Picked up Animal Crossing and Pokemon Ruby for my daughter, and the 3rd game I decided to choose for myself, to try out if the 3ds has good games at all. I choosed Fire Emblem Awakening, since it has got so good comments here from nintendolife and I'm also interested in RPG's anyway.

So after the announcement of New 3ds and MH4U, I decided to pick up the console for myself, I've been digging down to 200 Hrs till finally geting bored of MH.
Since I enjoyed Fire Emblem that much, I also decided to buy some Fire Emblem Amiibos and to get Code Name STEAM, now I'm almost done with that game aswell.
Super Smash Bros and NSMB2 I got aswell. And ALBW + MH3U I got through the Club Nintendo Winter campaign.

Since there is quite a while till the next good 3ds games comes out.

Which game from the older ones should now be my next? Don't want to miss out on anything great

I'm tending to Kid Icarus Uprising, bcuz of the good comments from nintendolife community (Would be a new franschise to me, and a new great experience if ofc appealing),
and to Bravely Default (But bcuz of all negative comments of endless grinding, I doubt the game is that great to deal with both titles Bravely Default and Second, then I might just wait for Second to come out). Although I enjoy RPGs, been playing Xenoblade Chronicles on Wii and Golden Sun for GBA back in the days for example. Or maybe should another great RPG for 3ds be the next? Any suggestions?

For my daugther, for our next vacationtrip, I guess I'll be geting Luigis Mansion 2 (Never had a Gamecube, but the graphics looks nice and the game seems to get well praised here on this community, also will be a new gaming experience to me if I try it out). Have been considering Kirby or Pokemon X/Y although.

Thanks in advance!

I forgot to say, I have been following Nintendo since the NES, the only console was the GameCube I didn't have.
And the Wii U I haven't got, since I'm still stuck in the Wii era a bit with backlogs of Metroid Trilogy (just Prime1 finished) and Super Mario Galaxy 2 (not quite finished), and The Last Story (whole game yet to play)

@Dezzy:
Ofc, I already played both Zelda's back in the N64 days And Super Mario 3D Land seems quite too much a like of Super Mario Galaxy, or doesn't seem to bring much as a new experience. I think I'm looking for a new experience some how. Thanks for the others!

It's not really that much like Galaxy. More of a mix between Mario 64 and NSMB

I don't know if you ever played the Harvest Moon games, but if you like farming/life simulation games, definitely give Story of Seasons a chance. Did you get the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney trilogy on the eShop? It's currently on sale on the eShop and a steal for what you get for the price. I am enjoying Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked currently, and the 3DS port of Devil Survivor 2 just was released not too long ago. If you like platformers, Shovel Knight is top notch stuff.
TL; DR
Story of Seasons
Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
Devil Survivor 2
Shovel Knight

Get a copy of Animal Crossing for yourself so you can play with your daughter (you can also create a character that lives in her town if you wanna just play on hers instead of buying another, but then you can't play at the same time or together). And besides what others have mentioned I'd throw in Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Mario Kart 7

everything's good and it'll be that way forever!

As far as I am concerned Shin Megami Tensei IV is THE BEST game on 3ds, the story line, different endings and interesting demons makes you want to play to this game again and again Really, it's truly the best game on the system. Especially if you like RPGs
And when it comes to Bravely Default it doesn't require any grinding unless you're a perfectionist and like to have all your characters at max level before you fight with last boss. I finished the game at normal pace and never had to grind for level in order to kill a certain boss. All of them were relatively easy with a proper strategy, what makes the game more interesting
So if you like RPG, don't question and go straight for Shin Megami Tensei IV, but it is kind of heavy plot-wise. If you want something more light-hearted then Bravely Default is your choice.

If you liked Fire Emblem Awakening, you would definitely enjoy Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2. I would say those two games stand out as the best strategy games on the system. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy has a great storyline, and is very enjoyable. If you buy Luigi's Mansion, perhaps you should try it as well, it's stellar.
The easiest way to find all the great games for the system would probably be to try Metacritic
http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/3d...
It finds the aggregate review scores of every game on the system. This is what I use to find what games to buy.

Currently bored (while change when I stop being bored)

I agree with you that Luigi's Mansion, Dark Moon is a good game, don't you feel the gameplay in this game is overly repetitive? Starting the same mansions with similar ghosts to deal again and again! The worst part is that if your life reaches to zero, all the things you did and the diamonds you collected have to be done again. Very tiring and boring. But yeah the game is not bad at all.
