@IceClimbers: The 1st party games are probably the remaining codenames from Supermetaldave64's list like N Stars.

@Grumblevolcano: N-Stars was the only codename left from that list wasn't it?

I imagine there's at least a couple games in development.

@IceClimbers: I think there were like 2 others.

I'm still waiting for a follow up for Kid Icarus Uprising but I doubt we'll get it even though it's the 30th anniversary of the series. To me it seems like the only well-known person to care about the series at Nintendo is Sakurai. Which is sad.

Well..they're doing very little for Zelda's 30th and even less for Metroid's, so it's not too surprising that we're not getting something new for Kid Icarus either...

Both of those are getting games released even if it's just a remake and a spin off.

Shame it is only for 3DS, the only two games I plan on buying for Wii U is Paper Mario and TMS#FE

I have a chronic lack of time, for everything.

Now playing: Okami HD, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Yep, this. Metroid is getting Federation Force and Zelda received not only Twilight Princess HD but also Hyrule Warriors Legends and its new DLC. And when you consider the fact that the NX was supposed to launch this year most likely with the new Zelda game, they had at least planned something for the series' 30th celebration.

Yet Nintendo hasn't even mentioned Kid Icarus this year.

This will be one of the best years for the 3DS: Zero Escape 3, Kirby Planet Robobot, Rhythm Heaven, DQ and even maybe AA6, if the localization is ready by this year.

My guess is that they are saving the games for an E3 reveal, since they're probably coming at the second half of the year.

I'm just expecting more games like Amiibo Festival and that bare bones Tennis game.

I'm hoping for Style Savvy 3 and Disney Magical World 2 to finally come out West

Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword

Didn't they basically ignore Metroid's anniversary though? Sure there's the awful game coming, but an actual birthday mention didn't happen did it? They also haven't even really mentioned any other anniversary except Mario, Zelda or Pokemon. If they did it was so passive.

Lol agreeing that there's probably a game or two (up to 4) coming they haven't mentioned at all though. It just seems likely even though it's a fact this is the slowest year for Nintendo since the 80's. Having 3-6 month gaps like with absolutely nothing of their own coming out? That would be shocking.

I'm hoping we get LBX2 and Monster Hunter Stories. Otherwise I'm pretty satisfied with what's already been announced, but I wouldn't say no to more games.

I wouldn't expect much, probably more small scale digital games and little to no full scale retail games. Really not much left for the 3DS to do, unless they can actually be bothered to release a main series Metroid game.

I bet they're second installments from already released series that reuse assets of some kind. Nintendo've been doing that an awful lot in the last 2 years. Reused assets and ports. Clearly their "save budget for NX" mission.

F-Zero Dance Party 3D! Make it happen Nintendo!

In that case Sun and Moon will probably be using the X and Y engine.

I think you guys are being too pessimistic. Nintendo seem to be very bullish about the 3DS for this holiday season so I expect that they have at least one more major unannounced first party project. My money is on Super Mario Maker 3DS.

Well Ninty's predicted 3ds software sales have been cut from the previous year despite a brand new poke-game out which are huge sellers.so if anthing else is coming out it won't be a big hitter like Mario Maker.
