@Tlol Not surprised. MA is a gaming clan started by me and a friend of mine on the 3DSPlaza forums last year. On the forums, we had clan wars with the other clans, all connected in a singular clan circuit. I guess you'd consider us the elites, as we never lost a war when I was in it. and trust me, that forum has some SERIOUSLY skilled users. Now that I think of it, I know a taurus arm user that would literally DECIMATE @taytrellz 1v1.

Can you name some of the most skilled members of that forum? I know many great players, so I want to see if anyone from there rings a bell.

Well, its a bit of both. When you are as good as @TheLilk98 is, he doesn't necessary need it. Not only that, but I have played alot of broken rounds recently with staves and energy charge, and almost all of them didn't need them. So I know I'm being hypocritical, as I used my old set up with Energy charge and playing dead last night against @taytrellz, but only on an experimental Laser Staff. Either way, I felt weird using it again.

Edit: I meant latest person I extremely underestimated.
And I've sort of developed a pet peeve against Staves with Energy charge and Reflection barrier.

@TheLilk98 Merciless Assassins? You live up to your title. And if you don't mind me asking, how did you think I do in our match? I personally thought I was going to lose after round 2.

i dont wanna use it often. i have no problem facing any other weapons other than staves. The long range stuff is just so cheap. All they have it do is stay back, warp when someone comes close and shoot. and a staff can be weak and all it needs is a simple Energy Charge to OHKO anyone.

My tag is [MA]LilK. My friend's tag is usually [MA]and as much of the word Phoenix as he can fit. The Taurus Arm user I was referring to is LilSaint. There's also an AMAZING Laser Staff user that taught me everything about Laser Staffs and got me to switch over from Flintlock, Pikarceus. There's more but those are some of the best.

I take it that is mostly targeted at me? I take no shame in warping, considering I used to spam playing dead like no tomorrow, but I try never to use energy charge anymore. I'll try to stick to other weapons around you.

.... Come on, seriously? That could be true if this little thing called dodging didn't exist, but since it does, saying a weapon only has to hit the other player to win is just a terrible argument. There are way more thing involved here, since you are also involved with the way your opponent predicts your movement and screws up your dodging. At long range the melee user can see the shots of his opponent coming some time ahead, then he can just dodge and approach with higher speed. You speak like Warp can be used indefinitely, guess what, it's 5 uses max. So, even if they warp away on every approach, you are still taking away Warp uses. And hey, dodging is infinite, so you aren't the one who should have trouble taking damage. Intelligent use of terrain can prevent damage most of the time.

@Knuckles I was impressed. After Pikarceus, you're the second best Laser Staff user i've fought. I slacked off in the last round. My error. My buddy is as Merciless as me. I remember a while ago I was using my 307 Samurai Blade against his 305 Samurai Blade, and a clan member who was spectating said we looked like wild animals XD

@Knuckles I'm not an active member anymore, but our policy was you had to beat the leader/co-leader in a best of 3.

I've beaten Daos but I don't think I've heard of the others.

@TheLilk98 So if you were still a leader, would you have made an exception, or not? I'm just curious.

@Knuckles Well, you beat me so I wouldn't have to. However, there were certain times when we'd let you in if you impressed us with your skills.

I personally thank you on the behalf of everyone on this thread. It is always an honor to fight against great players, and to see some names from the people from our thread in this best players @thelegendoflink knows.
